Afternoon Folks,

I'm Johnny and I have been tossing around the idea of putting RaceDeck in my garage and in my office/hobby room. Through my searching of the internet I found this place both by coming across it and by mention on the V8Buick.com forum which am on quite frequently. Hope to get some good ideas for the garage and hobby room from here and maybe provide some personal insite on anything I may have experience with.

Looking forward to it!

Here are a couple pictures of what I am working with. Re-used the kitchen cabinets that I tore out when I bought the house. Figured they would be OK for the garage. Not a perfect fit, but they work for now. And the whole thing needs some paint. It was a train wreck before, but I had to make room for my baby. She deserves better than to be in a crappy looking space. Hahaha.

I live a little north of Houston. So I guess it's really Southeast TX, lol. Well that's a small world. I should be in Paletine this weekend too, doing the same thing! We have a lease east of Palestine, but Mom just bought a piece of property west of Elkhart that we will start hunting next year.

Wow, that world is getting smaller by the minute. My place is southwest of Elkhart. My Dad was born near there, and his place of birth is listed as Elkhart.

Anderson county is under TPWD special antler restrictions, and I already took a nice buck there opening weekend and the four days over the Thanksgiving weekend is the only time I can take a doe, so it's that or a spike for me this time.

That's cool! Yeah, I got a decent buck on opening morning of Rifle season. A little young for me, but it's our last year on the place. I haven't taken a deer in several years and needed the meat. He measured out a 103 inches. Nothing huge, but he was nice. My luck is I always see a shooter opening weekend and then don't see another all season. Also twice a day everyday there is a group of does at my stand or within shooting distance, but come Thanksgiving weekend.....GONE! Come Monday morning, they are back. Never fails.

Did you have any luck this weekend?

We actually didn't do too bad. Step Dad bagged two Does back to back on Friday evening and my little brother got a pig. Saturday evening Mom got a Bobcat. Then yesterday morning I got a Doe. Most productive weekend we have had on that place. Ready to get the stuff moved over to the new property and see how it's going to play out.
