Left work a bit early and decided to root around the local pawn shop. This particular place has a great gun dept. but **** for tools. Today they happened to have some 'bulk' buckets which I promptly dug into.
After about 10 minutes of clawing through junk, I excavated these:
The gentleman at the counter asked what I thought my little pile was worth and he accepted my offer of $10 ($10.60 after tax). I ended up with:
- MAC adjustable crescent wrench (USA)
- Klein Tools - multipurpose wire/cable tool (USA)
- a nice feeling Crew Line 3/8 dr. ratchet (Taiwan)
- S/K 1/2 to 3/8 conversion (USA)
- a weird 1/2 dr. 26mm 12pt socket
- an old pair of angled Channellock snips
- a pair of Ampro spark plug wire pullers
- an ancient two leg puller of some sort
Not bad. I had my eye out for some wire crimps to replace the $10 china ones my neighbor 'borrowed', so instead of spending $10 for chinese crimps, I got the klein tool and a bunch of nice stuff to go along with it.
