Probably the best box at that price range... But that isn't saying much.

I'm seeing $219 on the site. Is there a coupon to make it $178?

It's $178 in store. I bought mine at $219, less a 20% HF coupon. My local HD is pretty good about honoring their coupons as it's right across the street. No complaints on my end, best value I could find for the money.

Yeah, the price is in store.... I think at that price it would make an awesome light duty tool chest... Definitely going to pick one up now thanks to th GJ influence

I just bought this at local HD for $143.
Math: $178 - 20% HF coupon = $143.
It works for me. Thanks Jd for the heads up.

So you guys are all alright with the very bad welding and the very cheap and thin steel used in its construction? Are you sure its even worth $143.00?

I agree it's not for heavy duty use. But for weekend warriors like me, it will do. Next up from my point of view is $299 Harbor Freight toolbox which I ask will I get twice the value out of it. I decided $143 HD toolbox was good enough.

Guess for you it wouldn't be, but for me, since I did purchase it, that would be my testament that, yes, I do think it is worth it.

+1.

Being a new home owner, it was an inexpensive purchase. Also better than what I had (which was nothing). Would I have rather spent $5,000 on a snap on box? Sure! Do I have disposable income like that? No! Does it hold my tools, and look pretty good doing it? Yes. :dunno:

Do all HD honor HF coupons? I'm confused lol

I showed my HD the 20% off Harbor Freight coupon on my phone. They didn't even scan it as the cashier pressed 20% discount button and that was that. HF afterall is a competitor to HD.

At the cashier's/manager's discretion I'd assume. I know at both of my Home Depot locations, they don't really view Harbor Freight as a viable competitor. Never had an issue with them discounting any coupons from Lowes, Sears, Sutherlands, etc. etc. though.

I know im bringing bak an old thread but does anyone have a review on this o any info on how theres was. Im looking at getting this model at my local HD. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-32...el-3216SSCA5THD/203469296?N=c27b#.UpkZNk7nbIV

I have had 1 for a year now and like it a lot. I'm about to go back and get a second one for the price they are. Bottom is filled with Hansen socket trays that are full. Next up is all ratchets extensions and adaptors then sae wrenches then metric wrenches abd on the top drawer is stuffed with screwdrivers abd pry bars. Haven't had a issue with weight in the drawers and they slide smoothly.

I've had mine since summer. I picked it up when they were on sale for $148. I'm not a pro, but it is worth every penny to me.
