I know their expensive but I really like who has these in their garage

Typically, I am one of the biggest sticklers for proper spelling/grammar/punctuation, but I have been refraining since joining GJ for the greater good of the community.

But after that quote ^^^ whomever has these tiles in their garage, sure does have quite the admirer!!

Not quite there yet: "I know they're expensive, but I really like these tiles. Who has these tiles in their garage?"

Sorry to disappoint, but I am an engineer. I am definitely in the right place. Besides, teachers have the same amount of right to be here as you or I do. Just FYI.

True lock looks to be the kind of tile where you can see the interlocking tabs
if you have two different tiles attached to one another. Check out Tuff Seal, they don't have that issue but I am sure are a bit more expensive as well.

There are not a whole lot of people who have those either as there was a thread out a few weeks ago on it to no avail.

The ideal floor tile, to me would be:

1. Interlocking
2. Permit water drainage.
3. Permit use of floor jack/jack stands
4. Reasonable in cost

Any recommendations for a product that meets all these specs?

Try RaceDeck's Free Flow, Swisstrax's RibTrax, or True Lock Plus Ribbed design sold by Garage Flooring LLC. They all self drain, interlock, and allow for the use of jacks and jack stands. "Reasonable in cost" is relative, so if you are interested I would recommend checking pricing with each party and mention you are from the GJ as they tend to give discounts for members here.

These are the same as the Tuff Seal tiles, just the private label version. They are the highest end PVC tile I am aware of and the locks are truly watertight. Depending on color and pattern selection, the down side can be price and lead time

I received some samples in the mail (light gray & dark gray) and I am very impressed Planning on a checker board look with red around the outside

How does the TrueLock PVC compare to the Tuff Seal is it as waterproof

Absolutely not. TuffSeal or TrueLock Premier is the only product on the market that I know of, for garage flooring, that will show you how to do a watertight installation right in their standard instructions.

That said, many of my customers have a cement slab that they want to protect. They want a product that water does not run through and TrueLock PVC is great for that. The locks are very very tight and do a good enough job of keeping moisture above the tile to suffice for most of the floors we sell.

Sometimes that's not the case. A wood floor, etc.
