A pretty interesting day for me.

1. Hubbard 5lb Blacksmith Hammer $6
2.IR 132 Air Hammer $7
3.Hitachi GP 2 die grinder $15
4.Body Hammer Head UNK $0.50
5.Imperial Brass Wheel Puller $2
6.6" Wire Cup USA $1
7.Armstron 12" C Clamp $10
8.Winchester Ball Peen Hammer $2
9.Taylor Clamp $1
10.Taiwan Center Punch, SO Chisel, and CMan Pro PH3 $2
11. Chicago Specialty Spanner Wrench $1 ???
12. Walden 4051 ratchet $2
13.Greenlee Stripper No. 1905, $3
14.32" Kennedy Box $15
15. 16lb sledge $5
16. Vintage Swimaster Dive Knife $5
17. Receptacle plates, Gerber Leather Case and Xcelite Pocket knife and Lennox Blade holder, $6
18. Pioneer Remote (spare for my truck) $0.50
19. Senco auto screws, full bucket, $5

All the firefighter books were $26, and once ebay'ed they will pay for today with profit. That includes my lunch and gas.

I'm stooked about the Winchester hammer! And the blacksmith hammer! The IR 132 is crazy expensive new, as is the Hitachi grinder and that little Greenlee stripper. That Armstrong clamp is the largest I now have, but I must repair/replace the screw.

Hey All, first post. I figured this would be a good one! I was at a flea market the other day. I took a look in an old bin under a table to find this.

Snap-on 1/2" 36mm impact socket (perfect for ford diesel filter caps)

5 Snap-on Hard handle screwdrivers -
SDD153
SDD3
SDDP02
SDD4100
SDDP64

And a Snap-on 1/4 extension set, with tray. Missing only the 11" extension. (came with some no-name extension in its spot)
All for $30!

Welcome and "You ****!

Finally got myself to the local House Clearance Auctioneers tonight, (bit difficult with evening rush hour) and spent a 2 hours bidding. Didn't get all the lots I wanted, but thats the roll of the dice.
Anyway;
View media item 35686Service Pocket watch£17 BWC drawing set £5

View media item 35684The jigsaw is a supermarket brand but was £5
The "dremel" was £15 a bit much but was worth it
All the handtools are english or european made including;
4 hammers, 3 carpenters squares, stanely wood vice and hand drills.

View media item 35685These spanners are a little odd
The left hand one is made in USSR
The next is Nissan
Then FIAT
The next two have RK on one side and Hm logo on the other
Final two are "Walter" with almost a vintageVW logo beside

View media item 35687The bottom four I think are blacksmith tools, I have no idea what the top two are. One is like a heavy duty compass. Any thoughts?

Finally,
View media item 35688Some new American tools!
Diamond Calk Horseshoe Co. 10" adjustable
Really stylised General Motors pipecutter
And.......
My first SNAP ON tool! A slightly rusty 14mm/17mm combination.:pimpflash

That is about 1\2 Of the hand tools I came home with, the rest are for scrapping.
Oh and all the hand tools came in 2 lots..........for £9:evil:

Sorry for the dodgy tablet pics

Oily nails, I think some of those pliers that you thought might be "blacksmith" are cobbler tools. I just sold some Sweden cobblers for $122. Clean them with evaporust and see if they have names/#s...

View media item 35687The bottom four I think are blacksmith tools,

The two on the bottom left are Cobbler's pliers. They are used to pull damp leather over a wooden last, and then tack the leather to the last to dry to shape.

The one on the top right may be a Saw Set. If so, it is used to set the angle of the teeth on a hand saw when sharpening.

Oily Nails,
Everyone else beat me to identifying your other stuff, so I'll congratulate you on the Diamond Adjustable! I believe the "Calk" in the name puts it back to the '50s or so, AA has more info.

:+1: Is that a bronze hammer?

There is at least one aircraft rivet bucking bar (the S-shaped one) in the photo. I suspect the one on the right is also for aircraft rivets.

Thanks, Been a while since ive seen them, trying to fiquire out what their exact use is. Use to use them helping a friend build airboats years ago, a little diffrent shape though.
Just need to buy an Airplane now.

That cabinet. It looks an awful lot like a Dewy Decimal cabinet that the libraries used to use. (Nice)[/QUOTE]

They are well made wood drawers, Kinda of had the impression they were shop built. I'll be taking them to auction or Craigs list soon, after using my Vidmars, kind of hard to go back.

Yup, it is the most complete 1/4dr set I've ever come across. Couple of things I've never seen before; the 1/4dr ratcheting adapter. Also I have seen the turning flex shaft tool before but only with a flat blade screwdriver end for adjusting carbs.... but this one has a 1/4dr male end so you can use anything that fits. Sorry, but I don't like to discuss prices.

Wow Rickster, that is a very nice set. Where did you find it? It looks barely used. That case must be pretty large. :dunno:

Case is huge. Found it at an estate sale in Troy. Guy had a huge electrical workshop where he worked on computers and all things electrical.

Went to a Estate sale and didn't see anything like that 1/4" drive set!! Actually I didn't get anything cause they had some stupid prices on their stuff. They had the balls to ask for $20 for a 10" craftsman adjustable wrench!!! I laughed and walked out of there with nothing.

Yup, I left behind some Snap-on that they had over priced based on looking them up on eBay. I took all the reasonably priced tools. Check out these two really cool drill guides I picked up there.
