Hello hope you can follow this, I will do my best to describe my question.

In my garage I have to overhead florescent light fixtures. I am wanting
to install two more fixtures about 5' to 7'. The fixtures are attached to the roof directly not loosely (like a chain).

Can I remove the present fixtures and just splice a wire from each fixture to the new fixture so all four run on one switch?

The length of wire is only 5-7 feet for each light fixture, the pull would not be decreased that much would it?

Do you mean "5' to 7'" APART? While there are some (relatively rare) 6-foot fluorescent tubes/fixtures, most are (approximately) two, four, or eight feet long.

I do hope you mean they are attached to the ceiling, or at least to some part of the roof's framing. Does your garage have a finished ceiling? Or is it open rafters/trusses?

This depends mostly on EXACTLY how the existing fixtures are installed, and particularly on how the connections to those fixtures are made. Many surface-mount "strip" lights and similar do not need (or use) a separate junction box, as all connections are made within the (metal) chassis of the fixture itself. But you still need to follow proper techniques (such as using wire clamps at the entry points, etc.) when doing this. Also, exactly how are the existing lights wired? Are they fed from individual conductors within conduit, or NM-B (a.k.a. "Romex") cables, or something else?

Not at all sure what you mean by "the pull" in this context.

As for the length of the (new) wires, that gets into another area (i.e., load, voltage drop, etc.) for which we have insufficient background information on the installation as a whole. But that said, another 5-7 feet would not normally make a significant difference.
