Nice! It would make sense, as the bottom cab is Gray, and has the same drawer styles. Anyone have any idea where there would be a model number on it? I'm thinking back, on one of the corners.

Mastercraft. Canadian tire. Manufactured by Waterloo.

A decent solid box but not worth more than $150. It sold new for $299 about 15-20 years ago. I know because I have the same box.
I'd pay $100 for it.

I'd ask where the badge off the front of it went? Sounds like he is trying to scam someone by saying it's SO or MAC.

It's not a Gray. Look at where the holes for the badge are in the pic he has, They are on the right hand side.
Gray has the badge on the left hand side always.

Same box. Made by Waterloo.

Painted side handles on the Gray as opposed to chrome on the one he is selling.

Many of the toolboxes made by Waterloo have no model number stamped on them as they were made for other companies and they were supposed to stamp them but couldn't be bothered.

It's a good top chest and if he doesn't wanna sell it for too much, I'd buy it.

I had my doubts about it being Gray, considering hes looking specifically for a Gray Top Box to match his bottom cab.

But, I did find a very similar box, with the badge on the right: http://www.graytools.com/toolcatalo...1685&s_filter=&recPage=9&startRow=1&pageNum=1
