Picked these up on sale for $77. Of course you'll notice they're USA made.

My girlfriend bought these for me and gave them to me today for a early Christmas present. Gearwrench semi-deep sockets. 6mm through 19mm. Great addition to my toolbox at work.

I picked up a set today for $85.04 - $10.00 Sywr discount - $41.00 point redemption = net cost $34.04 plus tax - It was a good day. These are terrific wrenches. The last of the Craftsman Professional USA wrenches - get them while you can

what is the set # on those?

I'll get it at work tomorrow for you. I've got the best (or worst) snap on driver. I told him last week no to 1/4 rat with the green hard handle (have one) and that if it were red I would have bought it. These were on his dash front and center when I hopped on the truck this week lol. He gave me a good deal on them tho.

I was killing time at lunch and stopped in to my local NAPA. Picked this up and used our shop discount, $51.99 out the door. Seems pretty nice, used it a bit this afternoon. It is made in Taiwan, it feels slightly better then a 84T Gearwrench.

Looking around and finding prices for replacement brushes for my Craftsman 900.277230 4 1/2" angle grinder I stumbled on a garage sale ad. Not 5 miles from home. One item listed was an identical Craftsman grinder. So I drove over thinking at worst Id be just buying for the brushes, and just to peruse some used tools.
Hokey smoke!
View media item 36031A Brand NEW 1997 4 1/2" grinder-in a box-$20.00!

Gave the man some cash and put it in the truck. Went back in just to see what else was there. Boxes upon boxes of stuff-most in tupper ware. Almost everything I looked at was brand new, from 1994 to 1997 but never used. Fella was selling all the tools for widower next door. Apparently her husband acquired tools- to acquire them. Rather bizarre. A lot of the stuff was very high dollar but very unique specialized stuff. Seller said neighbor would come over with a magazine ad-"wow look at this!". Next thing its being delivered.

Tried not to think about it too much and enjoy the story-but one of those odd moments-another mans passion & life, setting on a cement floor being sold for whatever can be had. Anyway..

View media item 36033Picked up an orbital jig saw and a skill belt sander. Brand new, 1994 unused $10 ea.

View media item 36034Didn't really need the Marples chisels but for 5 bucks came with the 2 Nicholson half round chisel/rasps

View media item 36035A lot of smalls, some of which were the new 1994 pkg speed bore bits $5, 20 pks of asst 3x18" belts 1$ ea, boxes of asst screws-good thing I hadn't the rent in my wallet. I opened the lil red box, contained 2 wood burning iron & mics pattern bits. $5 but I only picked up because, well not sure why. Its was the only item that seemed was used, that and the rack he made for it.

Thanks but it doesnt come up on their site. Any idea why?

:edit: found them on Ebay.

They are not a regular stock item. Drivers get them when they get them, kind of a perk of being a tool truck customer I guess. Best deal on snappy screwdrivers off the truck when they pop up tho. Some decent prices depending on the bid wars on ebay, the buy it now is crazy high tho lol. Good luck

For the budget toolman, nothing beats a trip to Lowes and Northern. Now I just need a phone with a decent camera.
