Just got a smoking deal on a new bamboo top it was originally $199 for a 72x24x1-1/2 at sears and I found it on searsoutlet.com but it was located at my local sears for $59 and after rewards $44 bucks. I ripped it down(tough wood!!)and put it on my HF 56 I'm pretty stoked. Now should I seal this with anything it looks like it has something on it but not sure what

The top looks great! Off topic kinda, but what did you use to get the rock hard glue off the box where the emblem was?

Mine wasn't that bad but I have an eraser wheel for removing pinstripes and such so that knocked it out a heat gun would of worked as well

Be sure to seal it on the bottom too. I bought a cheap bamboo cutting board about two years ago thinking it would last one or two uses. Still going strong today, tough as nails, and as long as I wash it both sides it doesn't warp.
