Need this Circuit Breaker...???

Bought a battery charger from Harbor Freight ( I know, first mistake ), didn't need to use it for a couple of months or so, when I did it immediately blew this circuit breaker because it had been assembled poorly and the wire grounded out on the case.
Called them many times, put on hold at best but never answered. Finally after dozens of times, a broken English customer service woman answered, told me my return time was run out but would send me a new circuit breaker. It arrived and couldn't be used because studs were too short.
It measures 1.25" x .75" and the studs are almost .75" long plus whatever is imbedded in body. As you can see there is a metal breaker/point setup on other side.
I could fix the charger if I could get a breaker like this but cannot find anyone who sells one.
Can anyone help me? Thanks

Hard to believe that happened to the battery charger and that the customer service folks didn't speak good English and weren't able to get you the correct part.

Here's what I would do if I bought a battery charger at HF and it didn't work and the return period had expired. I'd take it back and make them give me a new one, give them a look that will ensures you get what you want, works for me.

Long Beach CA, the sewer by the sea.
I'd try HF even if the warranty is expired. Tell them you'd been on the phone before the 90 days were up but you don't have days on end to sit on hold. If the thing looks new chances are they will exchange it. If you can't do this in person you will have to pay postage. If I were in this position I'd send it anyway w/o a RGA and send it with a return receipt just to see what they would do.

Sure, you can bash HF but if you bought this at Sears, O'Rielly's or Autozone, it came from the same COO.

Looks about right, they have other ratings and ones with a mounting bracket opposite the studs, too.

How do I know the amperage?

Take a look at the schematic and parts list in the manual the came with the charger, it should give you the amperage, if not use the part number and go to the HF website were they should have a listing for the part with the amperage.

Should be printed on the metal part, which should be floating around inside somewhere. Or not, if they bought them unmarked to save a cent each.

Unfortunately no schematic or parts list. They do not show this model on their website. This is probably at least a 5 year old problem except that I just recently found this site and as a result thought this might be the place to ask about the chargers circuit breaker.
Was the suggestion of a 15 amp CB random or an educated guess at its size that I should use?
Thanks

Random part number... assuming it's on the 12v side of things, I'd guesstimate whatever's just higher than the highest charge setting.
