Picked up a new Craftsman USA 1/4" socket set from the Bay and a couple Snap-On ratchets from a GJ member. Christmas just keeps coming. UPS left me a sticker on the door saying I've got a little more waiting for me at the.

My Christmas haul… Some Wiha nut drivers, Craftsman torpedo level thanks to the hot deal section and the contents of the Wera advent calendar minus the bottle opener which is currently in use!

After setting it next to the FLF80, The FF80 is slightly longer than I was expecting it to be. Do you have a regular F80 or 3/8 non flex ratchet to put next to it for comparison?

Here's another picture of the FF80 with an FL80 on the left and an F80 on the right.

Is this FF80 something new? I'm glad to see they've got a shorter 3/8 flex ratchet now. I will probably have to try one out. What is the over all length?

Yeah, my Snap-On driver told me it was a new item. I had been looking for a shorter flex head ratchet and first thing I saw when I got on the truck yesterday was this ratchet. I measure it to be about 8 5/16" long.

New battery charger with engine start

Mastercraft long reach plier set.

Got straight, 90 degree and 45 degree. The quality is a little iffy, but considering they were on sale for $12 I couldn't pass the set up. Figure I'll use them a bit, and if I like them, possibly upgrade to a better brand

Cheapo princess auto gasket scraper. Works awesome and was about 4 bucks.

Got 5 of these off ebay. You can't have enough pocket screwdrivers.

Here are some of the new tools that Santa brought me; a new Bosch 1617EVSPK router kit, a Genno square hammer, and a couple of Wera screwdrivers.

How are the fit of those Vessel screwdrivers in a conventional phillips screw?

I,ve used them a bit on new stuff and also tested various old screws on a piece of wood with #2 Vessel, Snap-on and USAG drivers and the Vessel had the better fit/function but most noticeably on the smaller screws.

Little trip to Harbor Freight and Sears today brought home a few items.

The bags were $5.99 each and the impacts are reg. $90 and are on sale for 50% off. I needed some deep impacts and $45 for the set is a really good buy I couldn't pass on.

So for Xmas I got my 3rd set of dewalt 18v drill/driver combo. I already had a set at work and at home. This new set will replace my work combo. I've used it at work for 5 years! Time to retire my trusty friend:thumbup:

Those are about $50 per set. I threw those in on a Zoro order with 30% off so it made for a decent deal. They feel great in your hand and are balanced nicely. Also have hollow shafts. These are the first German tools I think I have bought.

They work perfectly fine. They've been through hell and back. I just got this as a gift. I think my aunt thought I needed I new set when she stopped by my work and saw my old set.

Are they broken or not working as needed/properly? :headscrat

Didn't know if they'd worn out and you requested a new set, as all I could see is they're a bit dirty from working for their battery power. :bounce:

Incredibly nice aunt BTW.

I've got one of these due in soon from my Snap On rep, it's second hand but comes in at a steal, one question though, if I bin off the wooden top, will it be ok with my 26" top box on it?

seen that particular one on ebay bit over priced at 700, your 26" box will be fine just set it on something like drawer liner or carpet to stop it sliding around and damaging the other box or leave it on top of the wood. thats what i would do, looks better and gives you some added work space.
