Picked up a new Miller CST 280 on CL

I saw the ad and called right away. The MSRP for this machine is $2600+. Went and looked at it, was a woman selling it. I asked what the deal was. There isn't even a power plug installed on it yet. She tells me it was her husbands who left her for another woman a few years back.

I sincerely tried to convince her to give the guy the opportunity to get it back. She tells me they are divorced and she got the house and it's contents. And if I didn't want it she's got a line of people waiting to come get it. So I gave her the $600, took it and left. It came with a nice new set of Lenco 300 amp leads too.

Those are nice machines, you see them quite a bit on portable, hard to get to piping jobs, food process and the like. Only downside for the home is like many inverters you can't get full power on 1ph.

What ya going to use it for?
