Hey guys. I belong to a knife forum and they do something similar with "what did you use your knife for today" (I don't participate, I would always say "I cut something".) but what 5 tools did you use most "today"? I used my ingersoll rand 7150, IR impact sockets (17 and 21mm deep), kd tools torque wrench, gear wrench flex head ratchets and 12mm chrome socket. How about you? (Changed shocks on an 04 maxima, only tools I used besides the obvious jack and jack stands.

Didn't think I'd be doing anything yesterday but forgot the wife ordered new carpet for our daughter's bedroom. Had to break out my Matco stubby and a 5mm allen socket to take apart the furniture.

Does a coffee machine count???

No tools yet today. I'm an IT/network guy so don't use a lot of tools at work except cabling tools and whatnot and that's not every day. But yesterday...8mm & 10mm wrenches, deadblow hammer, pocket knife, measuring tape, #2 philips screwdriver.

Grabbed the glock, baton, and a couple of mags and just headed out to check my stores. Those count as tools right?

Last night met my old college roomates for dinner, bbq ribs! Buddy said that he had a coolant leak, so i brought my cooling system pressure tester with me. It was 2 degrees outside. Used the Snap-on SVTS262C and a Streamlight pro-tac. Didnt find the leak, need to get the car lifted up. It was COLD outside!

Table saw, miter saw, tape measure, hammer, and nail set. I used a few more, but those were the essentials today. Put trim around the top of a work bench and slipped in a replaceable masonite top.
