Weather was finallly nice enough to bring it home

Dang, that is down right beautiful. Very clean, not too flashy, lots of thin drawers and finally something besides green on a new box. Enjoy it.

The caster centers on the new boxes always crack me up. Bling bling.

Mrs. B gave me the green light to pick this up for my Christmas present. It took two of us to load it in the car. Unpacking it will wait a day or so.

That is a nice jack, I've used one quite a bit, I think you will really enjoy it.

Hey MF,
Is that an Epstein's order? Sure looks like it with that Mora knife. I bought two of the utility ones with the red handles, one for me, one for a gift. Hell of a knife for like $6. Sharp as heck. Should hold an edge well too.
Cheers,
JimDon

Picked up an old classic buzzbox welder, the Miller Thunderbolt 225. I only have MIG welders, so a chance to have a stick welder came up and I jumped on it for the auction price of $50. I expect it will work- these old things were pretty bulletproof. I need to get some leads for it next. Also the dial for the current display only goes up, not back down, so the connection between the crank and the display might be need some work.

Not bad though. Big ol' heavy brick.

Weller WESD51 Soldering Station. Made in Mexico.
Does it actually work? :shocking:

Seriously though, Weller products made in Mexico have a much higher DOA/short lifespan than they should. Just take a look at the reviews on Amazon.

That said, I actually have a Weller WD1 system (WSP80 & WMP irons w/ stop-n-go stand). So far, so good. But opening it up and looking around, it's obvious there were corners cut, even on this unit which is a German made model (i.e. power board from Asia).

Epstien's, and the Williams screwdriver set from Amazon. You're right, that's a lot of knife for the price.

Nice streamlight, I have a Stinger LED what is the diference between mine and the XP you just picked up? I can tell the cone is larger is that all?
My snap on guy came today. Warranted my old red blue point vice grips that I stripped the teeth out on and I got brand new snap-on ones. Bought a new air hammer and he threw in his last set of steak knives. He had one left stashed at home and knew I wanted one, brought it today just for me and had a couple different options of what to buy to throw it in on. Went with the air hammer. Main other option was a good set of left handed bits with extractors. He admitted they go on sale next month so I will get them then. Also made him throw in a little truck clock that are supposed to go with the extractors next month.

The dude in purple (Fedex) dropped off some PROTO goodness from Trident-Supply to me today in the form of their new 8 piece combination screwdriver set with the new hard quadlobal handles. I think these will quickly become my new favorite scrwedrivers.
I also got a PROTO 1/2 drive impact wrench.
Both of these tools are also available in red from Mac.

That Proto impact looks like the Mac (or Matco) 1/2 impact they've released within the past year or so....
