Crescent 9 in. Compound Action Linesmans Pliers $3.97

Local Sears hardware (Chagrin Falls Ohio) has these for $3.97. Not sure if it is just this store or others. They had a red tag on the price, but in the regular display area. I already have a set and can't honestly say they are my favorite, but for the $ I grabbed another set.

I have them and the diagonal cutters and really like them, the diagonal cutters especially. Would definitely pick a few up for cheap!

No!!! don't say that... I need to stop buying pliers... spent too much this holiday season already...

Overall I like them. The compound action thing gives them great leverage, but makes them a little weird to work with when doing finer movements. They have a tight spring that opens them very wide to me and I have big hands. Awesome to cut with. No brainier for under $4.

I have the complete set of these also and like them. I have abused them trying to find fault but they take it.

Also have seen the $3.97 singles occasionally for sale in my local sears. Never makes the ads online or in the newspaper circular for that price, just in the stores.
