Occasionally at the shop we rent a tool from Oreily's. I have had good luck with the couple of things we had got before. Rented a power steering pump puller/installer. I have been meaning to get one and its only $30 bucks to keep it. It is brand new and I was the first to use it. They claim it to be a "professional grade" and carries a lifetime warranty. Are they any good? :dunno:

Are these from eaton? If so...they're probably pretty good. Never heard of them and not sure who/where they're made though. Probably china-town on some of this stuff (looking at one of their axle nut sockets).

You know I am not sure if they are from Eaton or not. I have only tried a few of their things and they seem like decent quality. I plan to buy another tool they have we rented once and that was a stretch belt remover/installer. worked really slick. I have just been leery as they were built as rental tools I believe so I was concerned about longevity. But if they really are lifetime warrantied I guess I don't have too much to worry about. I will post some pictures of it later today when I get an extra minute at the shop.
Edit: From what I can tell the EverTough by Eaton seems to be parts. I found a TM search site and there is an Ever Tough. (two words, the tools are one word) made by Great Neck Saw Manufactures in NY. I don't think this is it either because the status of the TM is abandoned as of 2012 and it doesn't quite seem like they made the right things.
