Thursday - Brought home and wrestled into the shop a 60 gallon IR tank with a 5 HP Dayton driving a Quincy 216.
Friday - Pulled monstrous industrial three phase control off said compressor and begun to simplify controls.

Quick60, Thanks. It is still used, but not abused in the shop or on the patio for my brides hobby crafts. I'm cleaning up about a dozen tongs and several hammers that were made in the original farm shop and will be permanent fixtures around the base

Regular readers will notice that the P'up is not on my new scissor lift, turns out the exhaust hangs too low and hits the lift while trying to drive on.....I'm going to need some more 2X10's to get him enough clearance.

Knowledgable viewers will also see that this is not stock Classic Mini suspension, frame or for that matter engine. The trucklette was rebuilt using a Honda V-Tec motor and custom front end and suspension. It has about 140 hp and weighs about 1400 lbs!

Here's what the motor looks like....

I got the transmission removed from the chassis on the Corvette project. It's a 700R4 I purchased new for the car years ago, but I have now decided to go with a T56 manual. It was painted the Barney Purple color that the frame and engine were painted (car was going to be blue to red Kameleon at the time so it made sense) but now I am going black.

I thought it would be more sellable or tradeable in basic grey so I painted it.

Made this mobile work station with my brother. Not all the way done, still need to make a shelf and add a hardwood surround for the top. My table saw is also going to hang off the end so the top will also double as an outfeed table. The strut in the top is the quickly clamp things or mount things like a vise or grinder with studs.

The top is made out of bowling alley lane, I am not sure how long it will last. I found out when working with it that the various planks are only nailed together in various places, not glued. I will refinish the top as well.

Worked on momma's '64 Olds, and finally after three days, I got it running, but then again, I don't have a clue as to how. :headscrat It was either a bad connection with possibly a corroded connector, or something that may have not been completely plugged in solid. But it starts now,so that was the goal for this week I guess.

And in 10 minutes, it be Beer Thirty. :beer: Today was a good day:thumbup:

Belly....I am your daughter. (Darth Vader rip off) :lol_hitti

You should paint your helmet yellow and then she'd make a great Minion!

Today just outside my garage as thats as close to getting a vehicle inside as I can get at the moment I changed the front swaybar end links on my Blazer, the nearside was particularly bad with the middle spacer between the bushes absent without leave so there was a lot of play, the other side wasn't that much better with worn bushes. I'm guessing they are the factory originals. Cut the old ones off with the grinder and reassembled, dropped it back on its wheels and tightened everything up. I also replaced the broken hood alarm switch with a new waterproof one. Then I topped up the oil and rain-xed the back window as the wiper doesn't work as per usual for an s10 blazer. Hopefully it should go through its soon to be due annual inspection, the end links were an "advise" item last year as were the front brake hoses which I have also had replaced recently.

@Jere

10" wheels were the original fitment on the classic Mini, but they only had 30-50 hp!

Surprisingly, they really bite well and the car corners like it's on rails!
