You turned me into a vise addict

I posted a month or so ago about a Paramo vice I bought for $35.00. I got it fixed and cleaned up but not painted Here are some pictures. Today I was on Craigs list and a guy had a table saw for sale. I wasn't interested in the saw but was in the 2 vises that were sitting on it. I got both for $45.00. I think the 6 inch (missing the handle was made in China. Can any one tell me if so. The little one is a 3 inch Chas parker. No. 702? maybe 102? I also took a picture of the tag on the one I think was made in China. But I cant make it out.

Nice grab. I got this vise on kijiji (in canada) for $35 (maybe $25, can't remember)

Good quality vises are hard to come by in my area but I recently scored this USA made 5" Wilton Mechanic's/Tradesman's vise at a Flea. Got em' down to $40.

I've been bitten by the vise bug too. There are some beautiful vises on here that have me drooling. I found a big Rock Island 597 recently which should cover all my vise gripping needs but I'm still on the lookout for more.

Can you post more pics of the little Chas Parker vise? Something with a beer can or something in it for scale?

I love the Paramo. What's the size/weight on that beauty? I have always wanted one or a Record. They just don't come up too often around me.

It's a No. 6 With the swivel base it comes in at 100 lbs. Jaws are 6 inch.

Um, I got 6" Paramo given to me, along with an old Craftsman work bench from the 50s-60[s and (IIR) a 6 ton floor jack...
