I just bought an old ratchet wrench that looks like an old Brace & Bit tool, but has end for a socket. It has a diamond symbol shape with an M inside
and the #624.
Anyone know something about this?
Had to buy it, cause I didn't need it.
Thanks

It will if you put as much effort into it as Elroy did.

You see the little jewel shown above started out as a diamond in the rough! It was so rusty when Elroy got his hands on it, that you could barely read the Mossberg stamping. A conservative estimate on the clean time is 12 hours. Most of that time spent with "plumbers cloth". In all fairness it also needed the detent ball repaired too. That probably took up a good 2 hours.

These tools saw the great depression and everything in between and deserve to be saved if at all possible. Good luck on yours. Post a picture when you get it. Elroy regrets he didn't snap a few "before" shots of his.

The wife or the wrench.

I'll take the wrench.

You can have the wife.

Unless she runs a chainsaw well. Open to offers???
