Racedeck Freeflow in sock feet

Hi

I'm trying to decide between the Racedeck freeflow and the solid tiles. My garage floor has in-floor radiant heat, and I plan to use this space as more of a hangout than anything else. I won't even be parking a vehicle in there.

I'm curious about what the freeflow tiles would be like to walk on in sock feet. I would assume they wouldn't be as comfy as the solid tiles? Any feedback from freeflow owners would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Best question about free flow so far LOL. :) Those grids may actually give your feet a massage.

My tiles will arrive later this week, but you can call the Racedeck people for a sample...

Hi
We offer the FreeFLow flooring as patio, pool and locker room use as well, with great response as to comfort on bare feet. Happy to send you a sample.

Free flow is actually really nice to walk on barefoot.

I keep a gladiator fridge of beer only in the garage so I'm always running out there without shoes.

Even in the middle of winter in Indiana (below zero outside, 40 degrees in my garage) I can walk on it barefoot and it's not too cold. No way would I dream of doing that on the concrete.

Can't say enough good about free flow, I just love it.

I used it in the small part of my shop where we keep the area clean. So we walk barefoot on it as well. It is great. I used a mix of it and regular racedeck. Can't wait until I can do the entire shop one day 70x40! =)

Thanks for the replies everyone. That's good information. I want to be comfy in my hangout/escape area. Common sense would also seem to suggest that the freeflow tiles would act as less of a "barrier" when it comes to the in-floor heat.
