Recommend a 3/8" pneumatic impact wrench

Yep, no electric/battery !

All of the 3/8" pneumatic ratchet don't have enough torque (> 100-150 ft-lbs) or are just too huge and/or expensive.

What I am looking for is, reasonably small, light and not too expensive. I would love and old CP-723, but I can't find one anywhere !

Snap on mg325. Typically in the $150 range on ebay used. Great gun and fits in confined spaces....somewhat

King Tony M7 in either 3/8 or 1/2 drive.

Most compact impact without the balls being cut off in the process....

I have a IR 2115TiMax Non Q and love it. Smaller than the MG325, more powerful, and the trigger isnt nearly as touchy (used to own the SO). Got it off ebay brand new for $227 shipped, from these guys... http://www.ebay.com/usr/factory_authorized_outlet?_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2754 They dont have one listed right now but they are a authorized IR dealer and could probably get one for the same price.

I have this, its nice due to how stubby it is but its definitely at the cost of power. Its not even close to my more standard 3/8 impacts.

I understand exactly what you are saying. I didn't buy a new MG325 because it was way to harsh to use on 1/4" and 5/16" fasteners. I used to rebuild tons of sickle bars for swathers and the sections are held on with #12 bolts that are pressed in, so you don't want to break them off. There are about 100 per bar, so I needed something quick. I traded a guy a mini fridge for a Snap On IM31 old style 3/8 gun. It is perfect for small fasteners without breaking them off. THe torque goes from less then wrench/hand tight to as tight as you want to go on a 3/8 grade 8 bolt.

I already had IR Ti 1/2 and 3/4 guns so when I was reaching for the 3/8 gun, I didn't want to break stuff off. I also have a Snappy 3/8 cordless, which is my go to gun, but some jobs are worth using air rather than 4 battery swaps.
