I was given 2 street/pole lights and want to know how to wire them up. The eye is missing from the top of them.
They are 120. I dont want to use the photocell. Can i wire around it?
if the photocell is missing, water will get in it. That would be a no no. You'd have to make that part waterproof.
Just get a shorting cap and be done with it.

You DO know the type and wattage lamp to use?
There are 2 strait head screws is that were the power is hooked up.
You are talking like we know what you have. Without the pictures or a name and model number HOW is anyone suppose to help you, let along know if the two straight head screws are the line in????This light is not something you get at a hardware store so i dont know how to wire it up. I will try to get a photo.

I haven't had dialup since the last century, but it sounds like you need a good way of resizing photos so you can upload them in a few seconds. If you have Windows, try this:I walked down to the barn and looked at them they have no numbers on then. I have dial up so it will take more than a half hour to get a picture on here so i will not do that tonight. But i will tell you more about it. Were the bulb screws in under it is a plastic block and on each side there is 1 screw. The block is mounted to a transformer.
