Always had a soft spot for anything Grey, Grey tools have been #1 for decades in my book. Wasn't their forge plant located around the Dunnville area?

Anybody know where a guy could purchase one in the states?? Gray's website doesn't give U.S. distributors.

Alot has changed since I started this tread. I now reside in a Two car garage with a vast selection of tools that are overflowing the chest as I'm restoring a BMW E30.

Looking to pickup a roller in the near future, not sure what drawer layout I want yet. The 4 drawer is on sale currently for a good price. Either that or I go for the 11 drawer.

I like the 4 drawer but I feel that its just too short at 34.5"H vs 42.5"H for the 11 drawer.

Ok so I've always been in love with the vintage MAC boxes as my father has had several since before I have ever came around. I've never seen one of these boxes first hand as I'm in Iowa, but I've been thinking of buying a few of them to supplement my way overflowing HF 44 set. Its too bad they don't have a larger box as they look very heavy duty. That being said has anyone noticed the picture on the website showing a pro series box with a guy in coveralls. I looked at the specs for those units and they're about 5'2" tall. I'm thinking they found a shorter man on purpose for the photo shoot. :) It still hasn't changed my mind on wanting a few of these boxes. Surprised there isn't more threads on these.

Great to hear you like Gary, I'm getting my first box of product from them shortly. Sets of hex keys.

That set is killer! My thought was to run three roller cabinets with intermediate and top chests all side by side on a frame with six heavy casters. That would unclog my toolbox situation. Funny thing is running their largest intermediate and largest too chest would put that set up at over 6'8" tall. LOL

On another note does anyone know if the larger drawers are made to accept a second set of slides?

Do you know what the prices are looking like for the 11 Drawer or 9 Drawer that match yours?

I love the look of that 9 drawer, and it might be easier to pick one up new than find an old mac in good condition around here.

The 11 drawer is currently on sale for $429.95 (Pretty sure that's Canadian dollars). The Winter promotion ends on April 30th.

I've been admiring it from afar, trying to figure out some way to save up the cash to get one myself.

Wait - is this for a top chest? I was talking about the bottoms! at 429.99 I'll be checking them out

I have the matching roller cabinet. I will be grabbing a top box like yours the next time I see one come up on craigslist or kijiji. (I should have snatched the last one I saw, but...)

Well, it took years, but I finally found the top chest I sought - just like the OP's - on kijiji last Friday and collected it yesterday:

I'd have to think so.

Although I've seen USA distributors listed on their website before, they no longer appear to be there. But if they have a distributor in Vietnam, I'd be very surprised if someone literally across the border couldn't find a dealer!

How you liking it so far? Mine is going on 3.5 years and I just added a roller cabinet, couldn't be happier, seems crazy to me that this thing costs what it does, IMO it should cost a hell of alot more. Or maybe snap on and mac boxes should cost a hell of alot less :lol_hitti.

For those not in the know, Gray tools (1912) is older then Snap on (1920) and Mac tools (1938) and is still privately owned.
