Yeah, nine4, that's a nice fill the trailer haul right there! $20 box WOW!

Here's my $5 no haggle haul from a couple of flea market transactions. I have no idea how the no haggle happened.

Husky breaker bar
Proto Clik Stop Adjustable
S-K 18MM wrench
Vulcan swivel socket
Snap On hex socket
Cownwell 1-1/2" 3/4 socket
Red Thing for the next secret santa because everyone loves them. Just kidding, they are not getting my Craftsman pocket socket!

i'd triple your investment if it wasn't that much to ship all those goodies 3Bay.

maybe some of you have seen that red handled adjustable wrench before but new to me. looks like a great tool for a box with limited space.

Picked this up off craigslist for $100.

And here it is all set up.

I have no pressing need for it at the moment, but there have been times in the past where I wish I had one.

Sack, Nice scores! How many drawers on the bottom roller still in the truck? Are you sure the mid is Kennedy? handles look MAC ish or Proto but without the name...

That Grinder pedestal IS in fact a Grinder. it has the mounting for the rests. defiantly Pre-eye guards though! Most likely Babbitt bearings. The blue was probably someone's lame attempt to make it look newer, than it really is. :dunno:

Good score BC!

Love those sewing drawers, could you get a better pic of the pulls?

Both you guys with the vises ****!! Also, please don't bang on that 100 yo vise, I will gladly send you a China vise to torture

Oh yeah, thanks guys!! I barely got the box in the door before my neighbor came by and bought it for $90 :bounce:

So 9four, are we going to see your neighbor coming in showing his "ISUCK" score he got off his neighbor?

Some interesting tools and was wondering anyone knows what those pliers are?? and this symbol??

But that's it for me, $20 and alittle gas.

Madison, I believe the pliers are a sort of pipe wrench/Pliers for smaller pipe, probably 1/2" or less. hard to tell but do the teeth bite into round piece?

DIF, that multi wrench was a Xmas "special" from Craftsman some years back. Not worth much as a wrench, but quite a few have used them as a punch and chisel holder so they do have some usefulness. I'm always surprised at how much Joe & Jose public thinks they are worth at a yard sale, just because they say "Craftsman".

3Bay does the Husky have the socket in the handle so the breaker can be used as an extension?

Looking at it again I think your right about it being a grinder. They must have liked that color because I noticed that a lot of his cabinets & shelves matched. And it was painted AFTER the stone was shattered. Smurftacular...

It's a Kennedy. It's faint but it has the signature across the top. Plus it's got a decal down on the bottom. It's worn enough that all I can make out is "Kennedy Kits" but not the style/model. It measures out 18" H 28 1/2" W 15 1/2" D. It's honking big compared to my Craftsman. Not as pretty but I'm guessing it will hold 3X as much plus it's built like a safe. So it's in and the Cman is out.

The base is a 3 drawer, open at the base. It still has front cover, too. I hope to unload it and post it today.

Grabbed these today, along with a cabinet I have posted in another thread.

5 dollars for the hole saws and the Craftsman lineman(?) pliers. 1 dollar for the book of "Things to Make". The electrical book was in the filing cabinet. :D

Unload a tool box and it starts to rain. Unload another and it does the same. It's like a magic trick. A really crappy magic trick.

I swear its lighter than the mid section I hauled in last night. Cosmetically its in better shape, too. This was never a matched set. The base is newer and its about an inch in width smaller than the mid box.

Found a couple of locks and that's the Slim Jim that was in the box. The Crosman 130 was posted earlier in rough shape and not working. That's it minus the rust and gunk that was in and outside of it. A total tear down, cleaning, and a couple of drops of Pelgun oil and it's a fully functional 50's classic.

 He's not the "forum" type but he was excited, said "where else can you find a Craftsman stack for under $100?" I got most my money back and we're both happy :D

Syberia, nice DP, love the full length table lift!

CTyankee, that "Things to Make" book looks awesome!!

Sack, love the mid section back there. The only thing I don't like about Kennedy is it seems they did not have a clue what size box would stack well so they made them all different sizes :lol_hitti

Sack, I have that style roller with the odd flat drawer pulls, actually two of them, one red like that, one brown wrinkle, and both are 8 drawer (top drawer is two side by side so 7 drawer spaces on both...)

Late 50's or early 60's I think. Nice finds!

The Crossman, does it have the steel, brass, or plastic receiver?

CT Yankee, does the Sears electrical book have a Copyright date anywhere? I suspect late 40's based on the lineman's shown.

Great scores from everyone! Not much around here, between the deep freeze and welcoming a new tool collector into the world.
I've picked up a couple odds and ends at the Goodwill, but nothing else lately. Saw an ad for an estate sale on Friday. It didn't look promising, but it was only 2 miles from work and I'm getting desperate! One thing worth buying:

10" Peck, Stowe, and Wilcox (Pexto) adjustable wrench. (Outlaw?)

Stopped by the Habitat for Humanity Restore and picked up the following:

Wilde spark plug gapper
Vaco nut driver
Irwin stubby Phillips
Klein driver handle
Artisan Phillips

I think the first swap meet of the season is next week, so I'm looking forward to that.

Plastic so it's not the first run of the 130's. I may be off on the era. According to Crosman's site they ran production from 54-70.

The upper curved part is smooth and the lower jaw has teeth.

It has Lancaster stamped on it and i was thinking it came from somewhere here in PA, Lancaster, PA specifically.

Are the teeth straight, or angled to bite in one direction or another like a pipe wrench?

Went to an annual swap meet today. Was hoping the all-license plates guy would be here so I could finally finish my 50 state collection, but no luck!
Here is what I did get (plus an Arkansas plate)

Johnson Controls screwdriver
Craftsman needle files
Superior Tool (Cleveland) hex key set
Easco 8" adjustable
Williams 6" adjustable (has a locking pin!)
Allen and Crescent combination wrenches for an upcoming trade

Actually the copyright date is 1955. Wasn't the vanadium marking removed long before that? Surprising that they would use a picture of an older model.

I wasn't even looking at those markings, the Grip patterns made me think those dates, but I could be wrong on that also.

Wow, really? What all plates are you looking for. Do you look for a specific time period or just the state?

Not much that I found, course I wasn't out much. Picked up the CM table saw to get the table for my bandsaw, and was pleasantly surprised with the aluminum fence set up. The side table is angle framed and kinda of nice set up. I think I'm going to mount the fence and side frame on my Delta table saw. The CM saw has no motor and I'm not sure if the arbor is good shape.$ 30.00

The other sale was was a CL tool sale, I'm assuming a lady's late husbands tools. I heard her telling others that he was absent minded and bought multiples of everything, I'm thinking that's what he let her think. I wonder if he was a reader here on GJ. Mostly HF stuff, but I found some Jorgansan clamps for a buck a piece, three small sheets of plexiglass, ( maybe make some eye shields)

I don't think its a first run. It is a 130 and a .22 cal. But the front receiver is plastic and the grips are too, possibly Bakelite. I saw that they don't carry the rebuild kits at Crosman. Too bad they don't use common O-rings in them. Still, it's got enough power to knock cans over.
