What did that set you back?

Like most sears items they fluctuate in price. Those usually go on sale for ~$35, and the standard red handles ~$20. IIRC the pro's are made by Mayhew and the standard red handle made by Wilde.

Even normal price they are $50. *

I bought the mayhew set not the c-man . Sears pricing is similar and I was able to have a price match once. I was just saying had I researched it at the time I could of had a better deal.

My newest acquisitions.

GearWrench adjustable/extendable 18"-29" pry-bar.

... and whilst not brand new, they're barely used, and new to me: Snap-On SAE ratcheting wrench set. Grabbed 'em for a song off eBay.

Two new sets of wobble plus extensions and some much needed tools for coolant hose replacements:

 I saw the PB Swiss and then had to check your location. I take it over there PB swiss is pretty easy to come by locally or do you order online?

Bought them locally actually. They were on sale at my favorite hardware/auto parts store. I believe it was something like 38 euro's for the set.

Branded as Stanley?

I have those in the kitchen junk drawer. They have changed hundreds of toy, watch and flashlight batteries over the years I've had them. They've held up well, too. Not like those crappy metal "precision" screwdrivers where you can't apply any torque and when you do, the bit pulls out of the metal handle.

I'd buy another set if I could find the Stanley ones...

You can still get brand new USA NOS from cripedistributing on eBay, I just got 6" - 12" for less than $50 shipped from them.

Bought a new ratchet that came with a set of sockets that the truck had on promo. Straight handled ratchet matches my curved handled and I got him to swap the 6pt sockets for 12s. Also got a Cummins barring tool as I was tired of using one of the crank bolts to turn the motor over.

Also a glove holder to try to clean up the junk drawer.

I spy a yellowbullet sticker. Hows it going Phuck Stick?!?!?

Its COLLLDDDD here at work. Got here this morning and found the waste oil heaters wouldn't turn on. Went out and checked the 10k gallon storage tank and found to only have 10 or so inches of oil in the bottom and the very bottom 3-4 inches were heavy sludge. So I spent all morning pumping out the oil barrels and ended up with 175-200 gallons of warmer oil to pump in it and then had to keep resetting the heaters to try to bleed the air from the lines. Realll fun but my toes are just starting to thaw out now so its getting better.

Is it beer thirty yet??

Great deal! Are those shallow or deep sockets? Hopefully we'll have a similar deal up here !

I have a box holder too, very practical mines on my cart.

Shallows. I need to buy the deeps next I guess. I don't have much 12pt stuff. Havn't really had a need for em. But you know how that works you don't need em till you need em. Ha!

Stroked383

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the socket/ratchet deal cost?

$164.00.. Didn't really think it was that bad of a price considering he quoted me $115 for just the ratchet that I wanted.

Well looking at my receipt he wrote it as part #212FSMY.

The ratchet and sockets came shrink wrapped as a package but that # shows a rail of sockets. Not to sure on that one?? Ill assume truck promos wouldn't be on the website.
