Thanks, I'm gonna check w my local dealer on Monday, but some searching around online makes me think these are discontinued.

Just saw this post, I think that it is an HTC Brett Guard You would think that guy in the video would have told us the name... Anyhow google brett Guard and see if that is what you are looking for.

I think the splitter is one of the more important safety parts. I suppose you could add one.

I'm not sure if they were promoting that style of guard or that specific brand guard. It's like saying "hey all this is great, you should totally go get one" then not saying what you are recommending.

I didn't think much of that guard myself. A good splitter is much safer and is easily adjustable to be in line with the blade. That whole contraption is just to replace a splitter, doesn't have any other features, doesn't even have dust collection. He talks about moving it out of the way for some cuts. If you raise it up like shown, then you have no kickback protection at all.
