here's a list of my favorite stores to hit up on ebay for good deals, what are yours?

not in any particular order

martinhandel - tools, auto parts, shop, home- ships from FL
rcrecycling83 - industrial equipment- ships from IN
we-sell-it-4-less - random stuff, don't be afraid to lowball on offers- ships from MI
2ol4nu - cool tools, shop, vintage - ships from MN
elizabeth-augusts- mopar parts, random stuff - ships from IA
etechsurplus - industrial, shop - ships from NY
4rebeccac - tools, shop, random stuff - ships from CA
sellitall123 - tools, shop - ships from TX
bestdc2006 - tools, vintage, shop - ships from CA
sales69-llc - auto parts, tools, industrial - ships from NC & IL
zapparts - for discount auto parts, - ships from PA
delawaregold- tools, shop, auto- ships from DE
and of course cripedistributing - tools, industrial, home - ships from ID - buy everything then request an invoice with combined shipping; it's never a deal breaker

good deals but hard to recommend
empire_liquidators - they have good deals on all kinds of stuff but you have to beware, some stuff is brand new, others are broken - ships from NY, I was able to locally pick up my stuff but they still had a 5$ fee per item

thanks for the contributions guys, I'm gonna go ahead and include them all in my post so it's all in one shot.

ztsupply- tools, industrial, auto- ships from MI
tcitytrans- tools, shop, industrial- ships from MO
industryrecycles- tools, shop, industrial- ships from FL
greenleafprime- auto parts, new models, (mainly domestic)- ships from MI
i-g-s - govt. surplus (get your tax money back)- ships from CA

please contribute to the thread by NOT whining about your wallet and then bragging about how much you spent...

Two I have used for everything from hand tools to wire and air reels, both sell either brand new damaged goods or just brand new at good prices at times. IIRC both will drop prices 15%-35% at times and they take offers on a lot of stuff. I've never paid asking for any of their stuff. I filled half a brand new shop with stuff from these two.

Here is one that has recycled auto parts, more or less a salvage yard but they have some very new models they have picked apart:

As this one says gvt. surplus:

have you personally bought anything from the govt. surplus store? I've never went that route although I've seen those kinds of sellers have lots of stuff.

Most of my return purchases have been through Cripe.

Also, ZTSupply, who is also a member on here, usually has the best deals on Williams USA sockets. Stock is always changing though, so have to check back pretty regularly.

Thanks OP, this is a great thread. It complements the one I did a while back on surplus/tools/supplies online with the ebay focus. I'll check these out! - Paul

yeah I figured it will be easier to navigate if ebay is separated from the rest of the general online stores. Besides, it's a completely different buying experience.
