$1,500 but you got this must have been a sight to see

If you're questioning the difference between his asking price and the sale price, I believe it went to ebay when no one here wanted it.

Wait just a second......

What is wrong with preferential pricing for Garage Journal Members???

Also, the reason I posted the price, is that I think a lot of us here buy big tool boxes at one point or the other, and I thought it would be helpful to see going rates for a nice used KRL.

And this box did not sell through eBay, although my other KRA box pair (also listed here) did. A fellow is coming from Quebec to get that one...5 hr drive.

Nothing wrong with perfered pricing to GJ members. I followed the price of both boxes as I`m looking for a bigger one in Indiana. I looked at one same as above this weekend from an individual but he wants $2500. He knows how to find me if price gets better.

Skyline Do you have any good pry bars, int/ext snap ring pliers, needle nose pliers in your recent score. Thanks

i did not mean anything bad i just thought it may have gone for a better price on ebay
I think this is about the price it would have gotten on eBay. I regularly watch the toolbox auctions (looking for boxes full of tools), so I think this was about right. You have to distinguish between the ones that actually SELL and the ones where the sellers are just in dreamland. Keep in mind that at this price, this would generate $148.50 in fees to sell on eBay, ($88.25 FVF and $66.00 paypal). At least we kept 100%.
