Very nice! You'll be very impressed with it! I love mine. Got it used, and like it so much, I got the top a few days later.

can you link me to this please

If you go to: http://www.sears.com/ it should see that you're in the UK and a little Union Jack will appear in the corner, then all the prices are in £££s and in the right corner you'll see an international shipping offer tab, they ship to the UK for a fixed price of £15.

I ordered some Craftsman screwdrivers on Sunday, and they were with me by Thursday.

That is something I really need to do as well. Was that a buy one get one deal?

No BOGO here. Purchased the sae set on ebay and the metric on CL. After struggling to replace a brake line a month ago with the craftsman's spreading, I started looking for a better set.

ah great thanks , any additional taxes?

Ordered some more just now:

Basket GBP 104.75
Shipping: GBP 40.42 Discounted shipping GBP 15.00
Duties & Taxes: GBP 25.25
Order Total: GBP 145.00

I prepaid the taxes, seems about right given vat @ 20%, I've heard that some carriers can charge quite a high admin fee on taxes, so I'd rather prepay.

yeah can easy pay £10 collection fee

have you spotted any bargains on there

Sears prices seem to change on a daily basis, but I bought some of the professional screwdrivers a couple of weeks ago and finished off the set with another 14 of them tonight, including these:

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-prof...p-00949302000P?prdNo=3&blockNo=3&blockType=G3

The Snap-On fans would disagree, but these are USA made and as good as the 1 SO screwdriver that I have, and roughly £3 each.

And 8 of these are on their way:

http://www.sears.com/craftsman-prof...0945992000P?prdNo=23&blockNo=23&blockType=G23

completing the set from 7mm to 24mm, cost me £110 for a 17 piece set of USA made long polished spanners.

Next up is to try the non international Sears site that has the full range of Craftsman tools, and have them shipped home via Boxhop, some really good prices there, but not knowing how much the shipping will end up being is daunting...

Birthday present. Apparently dropping subtle hints to my wife is paying off. So far she has gotten me these, a nice set of pry bars, and a Matco engine scanner.

Picked these up from Menards today. 19.99 plus I had a 10.00 rebate to use so 10 bucks out the door isn't bad. Will see how they perform tomorrow.

I like the Starrett tap handle, the knurled grip and larger size looks like a great idea. I have a Starrett T affair with a chuck to hold the tap. I have always used it because the style of handled you have there made by most never holds the tap. Constantly coming loose when using it, long story short. I never knew Starret had that on the market, you say Amazon, think I will check that out, thanks for posting that.

I just went to HF. Not sure why. Picked a hammer and some impacts for my truck box which I guess was the main reason. The multi meter was free.

The HF "easy sorter" is my favorite thing HF sells!! I bought one for every guy in my family as Xmas presents....they all love it also.

Fresh off Ebay. Satisfied my Proto habit for another week. Are there any ********* Proto fans on GJ?

I am starting to get that way. Williams is cheaper but the quality hasn't been impressing me too much lately. I like a Wright a lot, but they seem to be consistently more expensive than Proto.

Proto hits the sweet spot for price / performance ratio for me.

With that said, I did pick up a set of Williams 1/2" SAE sockets last week. I already have a Proto set, but the price was too good to pass up.

I don't know how I missed this in the past. Instead of dumping **** everywhere I use this and just send everything back where it came from. I love it.

I got them at Home Depot. Last ones one the shelf. Not sure if that's because they're discontinuing them or not. But glad I got them.

Snap-On tool guy stopped by today. I couldn't resist the BOGO.

Would've liked red or green better, but they'll work the same.

Bought some 90 degree hose pinch pliers from the Matco tool guy today too.

I got the bogo prybars and hammer aswell. I was not expecting to like the hammer as much as I do. It looks like I need the small one now. Great.
