I have been taking advantage of the free shipping and "Save15" coupon lately. I have placed a few small orders of around $90, which gets me the $15 off and free shipping. Combine that with bonus points coupons and you can get some killer deals.

I just placed an order today for some the 12 pack of nut drivers, a disc brake caliper spreading tool, a soldering iron, and some misc. sockets for $86.64 shipped. With the Friends and Family sale, I opted to get $16.61 in points vs. $9 in savings.

My next purchase will probably be the 3pc snap ring pliers set and a hand impact driver. $16.61 in points, $15 coupon, and free shipping should bring them down to about $53 shipped.

Ordered some stuff yesterday with the F&F sale going on. There was a SYWR coupon for $10 back in points for any purchase over $50 that I found works with the sale prices. My purchase was $143 and when all was said and done I ended up with $48 in points from the purchase with the extra code and receiving points instead of the discount.

I can't get the 20% back in points to show up on the site, and the coupon they sent me doesn't work either.

I did pick up the Dewalt 12" slider and free stand in store today, and I'm going to call SYWR tomorrow and see if they won't give me the extra 10% I should have gotten. If they'll do it, the saw and stand cost me less than $400!

Just ordered the 52" Top and bottom. Got it for $899. The 999 craftsman club price plus 10% off for the friends and family night. Better deal than the HF 56" all day. USA made is also nice.

Does Sears have the same deal as Lowes, free stand w/Miter saw?

Yes sir! Last week you could get the deal in the store as well, but now it's online only. I went to buy it in the store today and they wouldn't match the online deal, so I just ordered it at their computer. It's on sale for $540 after the 10% discount, so if you can get the 20% in points instead it's like $480.

I had another discount and then some surprise points, which is why I managed to snag it for less.

What the hell, just ordered some Craftsman pro screwdrivers and it said "Save $3.00 on this order". Had it selected and it didn't take the $3 off when I checked out and payed. Damn Sears and their crappy website!

Anybody having problems getting the 20% in points to show up? The order I placed says I got 16,243 points, but my total is only reflecting 712. I thought there was a restriction on when you could redeem the points, but I can't seem to find what it was.

The points were supposed to show up on Tuesday.

Call SYWR. 15 minutes could save you hundreds on car insura...I mean get you your points back! They usually do a pretty good job if you call them, plus you'll be talking to an American!

Sears is awful, I've had numerous negative experiences. The latest I placed an order, my order history on my profile shows the last order I placed gave me 11,600 points. Yet I have a balance of 7. That was for an order that shipped 7 days ago. I called the 800 number, of course they patch me around and finally I speak with someone and they tell me I need to dial a different 800 number. So they disconnect me and I make another call, get in another que, patched around through automated operator only to find out they were closed for the day.
Called a day later and the lady spent 20 minutes with me on hold, scratching her head saying I just don't know why. The order isn't attached to your profile, with me telling her I can see it just fine on my profile, under the order center history and it shows, You've earned 11,633 points. At the end, she promised they would get to the bottom of it and I should see the points within 7-10 business days.

That's sears in 2014

Lies, I got Mexico last time I called. Communication was hell, I had to repeat myself 3 or 4 times.

PeterT and Bigblue&Goldie, with points issues, you should try their email Sears Shop Your Way Rewards <[email protected]>. Provide them as much details as you could: your order #, name , shop your way reward # ... they usually figure it out in a day or two. better than getting frustrated over the phone and wait. also, sometimes those rewards points could be a delayed reward by design, meaning they'll deposit those points at some specific future date, usually in a week or two, then the points have to be used within a specified period, like a week from when it's rewarded. i suspect this is what you are running into. so if you want, just keep an eye on your account every other day or so and you might be pleasantly surprised. i know they don't show the specifics of the "rewarded on a future date" with those ofers and they should have made that clear but if your account shows you earned those points, sooner or later you should have it. that's been my experience.

Seems like sears is trying to reinvent themselves and betting on this whole points system. i doubt they'll succeed. it's too big a corporate machine ... in all fairness , while i hate them a lot from time to time, them being around in business is a good thing - adds competitive pressure on other stores and in the end good for consumers.

Whats the email address, there isn't one listed for SYWR under contact us on the website. Just a 800 number, and like I've said if I reach out to the non SYWR contacts, they route me back to the 800 number.
Besides, your other point doesn't make sense, delayed points? If you order history says "you've received 11,633 points', that means you should ahve the points, not delayed by a week or two.

I placed an order for 12 of the offset wrenches on Saturday. I used the coupon that was supposed to give me $20.00 in extra points for making a tool purchase of over $100.00. I placed only one order but on my account it was broken down into 3 separate orders(all less than $100.00 each) so I didn't get the extra points. I emailed them and received an automated reply telling me they would respond to my inquiry as soon as possible. Time will tell.

I just checked my account and I have my $20 in extra points. That was pretty quick. I just emailed them about it 3 1/2 hours ago.

That's good.....I'm still waiting on my points. I will probably make one last order to use up my points and then I'm done with Sears. The whole company is going downhill at a rapid rate.

I keep telling myself that but then I wind up finding something else I can't live without or they give me surprise points and sucker me back. Then I have points from that purchase I have to use and the cycle starts all over again. I really don't have a problem....I can quit anytime:beer2:
