Ive recently acquired an almost complete set of Craftsman screwdriver handle ratcheting box wrenches. I'm trying to complete the set but there are no part numbers and my searches are coming up empty. Does anyone have any info on these? Thanks

They don't appear to be custom but anything is possible. The only other marking is looks to be a 4 on the back.
Sizes 8, 10, 13, 14, & 15 (laser etched)

Although it's already been stated, those are definitely NOT homemade. I very distinctly remember seeing them at my local Sears and thinking they were kind of a gimmick tool. They just don't seem real practical to me. I guess that's why I never bought them.

Pretty cool Craftsman set that I've never seen before.

Those would be better to keep than plain jane ratcheting wrenches that people can't give away !!

Why are some of them 6pt while others are twelve. Wouldnt a set just use one?

The larger sizes appear to be 12pt while the smaller sizes are 6pt. Not really sure why. I just picked up a set of SAE from an estate just up the road from me. Its very hard to find any info on them because of all the keywords you use to search also corresponds to hundreds of other similar tools. Craftsman ratcheting wrench screwdriver handle etc

I've got a set of the SAE ones, haven't touched them since the newer gearwrenches came into my life.

I've also got a set of hard handle Snap-On wrenches from the same era in metric that other than the handles seem identical to the C-mans. Kastar producing them makes sense since they supply both companies on other items.

I recently picked up both Metric and Standard sets of these. I had never seen them before. They are still untouched in their original package. I can't really find much about them. I've been looking for them on ebay to get an idea if they're worth anything but can't find the, on there either.

Wow, what a rare find! I have never seen this style of Craftsman ratchet before. These are not my favorite type of ratcheting wrench, but damn, those are cool. Thanks to Bill440, Fordman7795, PelicanPines and LJSE34 for posting pictures, I would find it hard to believe those ratcheting wrenches existed without seeing them.

They look factory. Don't think anyone would go to the trouble to make a set of them.
I have two myself, and remember buying them from Sears. I just can’t remember what on earth, my intent of use for them were. They were made by Sears to be sold as a Craftsman tool. The 2 sizes I have are 3/8 & 5/8. I just found the garage journal a few days ago and tried to join but with a little success. My email is: [email protected] if anyone could tell me an easy solution to joining.

Wow!....I gotta get my "rare" Cman stuff on Ebay!:dunno::lol_hitti
There's a lotta stuff I need to sell. Or just say piss on it and let them sell it at the estate sale.
I keep thinking about having an auction and selling everything.
Not sure what I'd do after that.
I'm not good at living in close proximity to other people.

Welcome!

My late friend wrenched and always knew where his was for GM seat track-to-floor retaining nuts. 1/2" or 9/16" I believe.

They're one of those tools perfect for some tasks, but not all, due sizing / clearance.
