Arrived today, and I love it. Never thought I'd ever care about one of these, but this one is the kangaroo's pouch.

My car has 17mm Lug Bolts, Bikes have 15mm and that 3/8" Dr means it fits almost anything!

Got some cool stuff when I was out of town last week. That metric hex key set has a magnet at the ball end of each one and a sweet powder coat finish. Not bad for only $18 USD!

The small ratchet set is really going to help me with my work. It included a 1/4" ratchet and a ratchet with a screw bit.

Turns out I can't use the stubby holder and need to find another one. It was worth a shot for $2 but it does not have enough open slots and many are too tight to even fit a wrench in.

I finally got the Craftsman Stubby set everyone talks about. Had to buy the 22mm separate and just ordered a 9mm. Could not find a 11mm or a 21mm stubby that Craftsman makes. I still need to find a holder for this set. The one I picked up is too tight and not enough slots.

That's the only one my set skipped. I've never missed it. What do you use it for (just curious and looking for an excuse to buy one!).

As 90zcar said, GM fuel filters. The oil cooler lines going into the gm truck radiator is 20mm as well. I've ran into a few VW Aircooled Beetles that the generator nuts are 20mm. There are others, but that is about the extent of my experience with 20mm. Enough that I have a 20mm wrench and 20mm flare crow foot. Need to break down and but a 20mm line wrench, would be more handy for the GM work.

Any particular jobs you going to be using that on?

Hoping it will be handy to pop the injectors out of the 1.6s for the recall on the escapes. The big slide hammer the only thing I had that fit and was to bulky/heavy. They don't need much but some seem to stick more than others. We shall see tomorrow I have a stock unit that needs done along with plenty that have yet to be scheduled. We just had a fellow tech leave so it's only the 2 of us SMT and 2 oil changers. Business is picking up and we're keeping up but these recalls are making me work.. Ha

Now what do I do with the empty blow molded tool chest?

Sell it on CL or throw it away. Going through my storage today, I realize how many junk blow molded cases I've been hauling around 'just in case'. Plenty of stuff went in the trash today (mostly plastic trays and Milwaukee M12 boxes).

Got a friend of a friend deal on these Milwaukee tools I just couldn't resist. I love the 18v Milwaukee stuff and also ordered the metal saw and portable vac as well as the 12 volt die grinder and 3/8 cordless ratchet.

All my tools finally came in!
Snap on line up bars and blue point 1/4 set. Waiting on my thread chasing set.

You'll love that 1/4 inch set. I've had the same one for about 4 years. The clam-shell case final broke (tripped over it), but the quality of the tools is top notch. It's my go to under-dash repair kit. Enjoy!
