Visited the Snap-on man yesterday. Had him swap the blade on a flathead screwdriver and bought a pair of electronics needle nose pliers.
The tape measure came directly from Stanley. I called to see if I could purchase a replacement blade for a 3/4 x 12 tape measure. The very nice rep told me they no longer sell the parts but she would be happy to send me a new tape measure! How's that for service :D

Wow! That is a nice adjustable plier but you better be pretty damn strong if your gonna bust a 1 1/4 or 22mm nut loose with that little thing. Would not be a happy camper on the job that left me only enough room to use one of these and not something longer on that size fastener.

Haha I know what you mean. It's perfect tho for air fittings where space is at a premium and house stuff like under the sink
For larger more leverage things I'm either gonna get a large pliers wrench or cobra or just a bigger version of this

Autel ms310 I don't remember exactly but it was under $30 I haven't used it yet but I will let you know

I looked em up on amazon and I see the 300 and the 310. They both have great reviews. The 300 is around $20 and the 310 around $35

I just ordered the 310 through Amazon yesterday. I figured it was worth the extra money just for the CEL control. I almost never have to mess with anything OBDII, but should be a lot easier now.

Nice! That's not harbor freight, is it? What are the eye hooks on top for? Rigging your huge box up in the air??

This is the old version of the Montezuma Tool Box from https://www.strictlytoolboxes.com/ This box blows the tool truck guys boxes out the water. We have a Mac and Snap-on at the shop and have compared them. The loops on top are for lifting the hutch onto the box.

Looks like they went up a few bucks mine was $29.99 shipped

I swear when I looked at the cheaper one yesterday it was 17.99 with free shipping...now that same one is 19.99 without shipping included.

I swear amazon changes their prices back and forth every couple hours

They do, I added something to my cart, but didn't checkout. Next day it said the price had dropped. Same with everything in my Wishlist, always ends up cheaper to wait.

All my tools finally came in!

Snap on line up bars and blue point 1/4 set. Waiting on my thread chasing set.

Off the cornwell truck, Mountain wrenches!

Man that pry at set looks nice. I can't quite swallow the full set price but I think I may buy the 6" and 12" individually. Figure u can always stick a cheater bar on the 12" if u need more length

Let me know how you like those wrenches, and what did they set you back?
$203, alot of guys in the shop use them. They hold up well we just cant put cheaters on them haha. Everyonce in a while the teeth strip out. They get in the places you need when you need it, im tired of borrowing them :lol_hitti

A new matco dealer stopped by, total FNG but he'll get the hang of how us techs handle business. I bought some cheap stuff to test the waters.

Not really a tool, but I got this delivered today. Upgraded to a Matco JSC770 Cart. Tomorrow my side locker and adapter get dropped off for my 4s box. The deal was way to good to pass up.

When I got home from work this was on my doorstep. Sunex 1/2" drive deep impact socket set. These seem like very nice sockets and like I was hoping these have the size stamping on them also besides the laser etching aswell. Cro-Mo and made in Taiwan. I find it odd tho that the set doesn't include 24mm but includes 26 so I bought a single 24mm

Sorry i didnt explain that.

So all that stuff in that picture was around $200. He asked how i wanted to pay it. I said i'll do $25 today (again, testing him), he got all butthurt about it. I hope he develops thicker skin or im not doing business with him.

I owe Strap-on ~$1000 and that dealer is letting me pay whatever i want week to week which most of the time is $25.

^^^ - Since your putting your business out there...

Seems to me your "test" isn't so much to see how -generous- your truck guy is, as it is to see what you can get away with... bare minimums.

Just my opinion, brother.
Take it with a grain of salt.

Nice box!
