Package says china, but they seem nice enough. They were on sale this month. I don't have space for the package or the pliers lol, but the tray keeps them closed, so they might actually take up less space that way.

What did you get? Anything good in the new real deals?

NAPA Pro right angle die grinder and SAE deep impact swivels were on sale. I ordered an air drill and Metric swivels too but those were full price.

edit: I lied, looks like the metric set was on sale too

I'm pretty happy with my latest arrivals. SP Tools SP10014, full 6-19mm standard combination (similar length to Snap On) wrench set. On special for $99AUS. They have a nice feel to them, very solid and weighty.

After using the same oil filter wrench for 15 years I thought I should get one that actually fits right. This one from Australia fits perfect and tight! It is not as tight on the Napa Gold filter but still seems good enough.

I also got something that will make draining my oil faster and easier. Just turn the tap and the oil will come out. No need to mess with the drain plug anymore, this replaces the drain plug.

Private Brand Tools 71110A Toyota/Lexus 4 Cylinder Oil Filter Wrench
Fumoto F-103 Engine Oil Drain Valve

Completed my torque wrench set..

CDI Torque Products 2502MRMH
Precision Instruments M1R200HX
Precision Instruments C2FR100F
Precision Instruments C3FR250F

Although I think my M1R200HX is redundant given the 2502MRMH..

One is 1/4 drive (PI - 30-200 inch/lbs) and the other is 3/8 (CDI - 30-250 inch/lbs)

I would take SP over sidchrome and most other Oz tools. Every time I get some of their gear i am always pleasantly surprised.
Just stumbled across toolhq.com.au check it out. Pretty cheap and free delivery. .

Some of their stuff. I wouldn't go near their screwdrivers and pliers, but I do like their wrenches and impact sockets a lot. I'd like to know where it's all made.

They made it dual purpose which is good. I never know when I will need that canister notches for future use.

Thanks for the warning about dropping it. I will be careful with it.

Looks like a decent set actually^^^

I know the money is for the tools, but seeing nice tools in a thin plastic tray like that really put me off. That's why I won't buy Snap-On tools anymore. Grey Pneumatics' cases are for actual use, not just throw away packaging.

Tool splurge. All because of a slighty rounded starter bolt. The wife finally got the tool thing, as she said to me you can never have enough tools.

Mayhew dominator pry bar set.
Metric and Sae 26 pc CMan wrench sets.
USA Cman 10pc screwdriver.
19 pc 1/4 CMan universal socket set.
Ernst wrench holders.
Gearwrench snap ring pliers.
27 28 29 duralast sockets.
KD tools t55 torx
Used snap on tbar and speed handle.
Not pictured B&M Matrix 20v, 5lbs dead blow, 3lbs sledge.
Luckily the fiance and her parents are getting the 42 HF chest later this week or next.

New snap on trays are way better about 10 times as thick as the old ones

Good to know, I remember the old trays came cracked new, and people still used them to organize tools in their boxes. I just picked up a Grey DUO set, and the case is the nicest I've ever seen. I was planning on just throwing away the case, like jfcasey does, but when I actually saw it I knew it was way better than my Hansen trays, especially since 26 sockets per row is too many for those trays to deal with anyway.

What's the part # on those sockets? I can't find them

NPT 610212... Just shy of $100 http://www.napaonline.com/Catalog/C...act-Universal-Metric/_/R-NPT610212_0006572281

Meh... They'll end up on a rail anyway.
