PAToyota I'm with you. My mother should have been an English teacher as she was alwats correcting my brothers and me.....notice I did not say 'brothers and I'. I went to Catholic schools, in the 60's, and trust me when I tell you, that nun would slap the **** right out of you if you made a no - no. Now, improper English really annoys me. I do not subscribe to the local newspaper because they can not write any better than they do. There, I'm finished.

The nuns at my school were just as bad. I've done so little writing since then that I don't remember all the rules. Now I look at something I've written and know the structure or grammer is wrong but don't know why. I keep waiting for that wooden pointer to come across my knuckles to straighten me out.
