Does anyone know of any coupons or methods of getting 10% off at Home Depot? I used to get promotional items in the mail from time to time with 10 % off and special financing offers but have not seen any in some time. Just curious if anyone has seen anything at all?

^What he said. Go to the post office and say you just moved here and get the packet for "new residents". There usually is a Lowes coupon in there.

HD won't give you 10% on top of an already discounted item though. If you're a cheapie like me and never buy anything at full price, that 10% doesn't really do much except for things that never go on sale (building materials, etc).

Home depot will match lowes 10% moving coupon.

I suppose it may vary, but the new Lowes 10% moving coupons are not actual coupons anymore, you get a code then go to their website and print a unique coupon.

The issue is that HD will not price match something you print at home anymore so you are probably better off with a Harbor Freight coupon.

Join the military? Home Depot and Lowes give 10% off and it applies to sale items.

I tried to get moving coupons at the PO but they said just go lnline to fill out a change of address.

2 of my buddies are vets. They always offer to buy stuff for me , but I decline. They even offer me their ID. That is a big negatory....

Why that is any different than scamming for a moving coupon, I'm not sure....

I have gotten my store to honor the 20% HF coupons before. They didn't have a problem doing it, but I could tell it was a very unusual request from their demeanor.

My local HD refuses to match HF or ACE coupons for generic % off. I've asked many times. They claim they will match if the coupon lists a specific item (make/model) that they also carry. So that pretty much kills all HF and most of the ACE coupons.

It's called character and morality. You have it. Thanks.

On the other hand, I send my son in to buy stuff. Well, when he's home. In Afghanistan right now. But the wife went to the CS desk and told them we were remodeling his bedroom, and they gave her the 10% off on the flooring. He's going to be surprised when he comes home to see his remodeled bedroom he can't move back in to. :lol_hitti

My home depot says no to computer printout Lowes coupons. They want just the ones the used to mail to you.

HD's here match Menards 11% mail-in rebate discounts with an instant HD gift card. Not sure how close to a Menards in Ohio you are, but I know they have stores there.

The Lowe's moving coupons at the post office are no more, from what I've seen. I've looked for them in recent years and there's only a card with a website where you go and fill out the info. I've tried it multiple times and only once did it actually work.

And, my Home Depot now claims they won't take or match online coupons that are printed out, so your mileage may vary.

I just recently moved and received lowes coupons when my wife went to the post office. Might be different in other areas.

This one just popped up on a few of the deal sites.

Home Deopt 10% Off

People are reporting it's working fine (scans in-store at least), but there are some questions on the website itself, and whether or not you might start getting spam/junk in your email, so you may not want to use your main email to get the coupon.

when I moved you had to register to get the coupon and it took a bit to get it. home depot will match the 11 percent off but it has to be a certain value. they were gonna do it for me but said the could only put a min of 5 dollars on a gift card so I had to spend more money.
