Ok guys. I just got my 84" epiq roll cab and top chest and they are HEAVY. They picked my JD 770 back end off the ground(********) when I tried to lift them individually. How have you got your top chest up on the roll cab? I thought about taking the drawers out and trying to get 4-6 guys to pick it up. I haven't attempted anything yet because I left out of town that afternoon.

Maybe sling it and use a hoist if you are in a shop.

We're going to need some pics of that big *** box. :rocker:

It took 4 of us to lift my hutch, Biggest issue is the height of the box and getting the hutch up that high. I couldn't imagine a top chest. Remove all the drawers and 6 tall, strong guys might do the trick. Good luck!

Dear god man. You need a team of vikings or something.

But you can sling it, under a spider rack lift, and lower it dow on it. 3 guys lift an end, and take out the sling, same for the other side.

Now the big question. Side cab, and locker????

Snap On says 850# shipped, so probably 750# or so out of the crate. I'd put the heaviest implement you have and maybe a couple people on the back and try again, we used my brother's Bobcat for my Montezuma, but it looks like it was only 478# net, 610# shipped:

I finally got around to getting my box unpacked sort of. I took all the drawers out and we had 4 guys that picked one end of the top chest up and set it on the roll cab, then we lifted the other end up and slid it over on a moving blanket we had put down. It wasn't as bad as I thought but it was still HEAVY. I didn't bolt the locker on because it barely fit on my 4x8 trailer as it sets.

That's one heck of a box! You may want to head over to the Hot Deals thread because I'm guessing you may have a little more room you need to fill up.

Thanks for the compliments guys. This is my old box that is so jammed full that I have been setting my new purchases on the top. When I bought it in 08 I said it was the last box I would ever need to buy because it was so big.

Sorry to revive such an old thread.

I noticed in the picture with the bobcat the chains on the corners. Are there built in provisions for this on top of the box or is there some other type of rigging going on?

I have a 1203b coming for my dad and was trying to figure out how we were going to get it on top of the roll cab without damage. I can't find any actual pictures of the top or a PDF file of the n how we could nnect it all.

There were threaded holes in the top of my box and I believe the eyebolts came with it for us to do that.
