Hi all, been lurking on the forum for several months. Finally decided to make my first post. I have been slowly working in my garage and finally the past week I have actually started doing significant work out there. I was searching for someone who had a similar idea and posted it but I couldn't find anything which is what prompted my post. I am starting to install some track wall. I really wanted to have black sections instead of white but kobalt and Rubbermaid weren't appealing to me over all. I bought some of the husky track this evening with some black plasti dip and started spraying it. So far it is covering great and it is sticking nicely without running. I'll post updated pictures as I progress. Bought 2 rails to start to place over my work bench and a 2ft by 4ft section of pegboard to put between them. Gonna put a few more coats on it tomorrow after it has dried over night before I say for sure it will work. But so far so good.

Got the project finished this evening. 5 coats of black plastidip on the rails and 4 coats of gray plastidip on the peg board. I'm very happy with the end result. I'll be spending the next couple of nights trying to figure out what to put in the pegboard. Ended up ripping it down to 1½ ft from 2ft so that I didn't have to shorten my work bench. I can tell I'm gonna miss that space but it will work out just fine. uploadfromtaptalk1398050081297.jpg

I'm KC and Lawrence right now. Went to Goddard HS for 2 years in 07-09 ish though so I'm quite familiar with the stop light on that corner. Apparently there's a walmart there now since I was there

Yep there is a Walmart and they have plans to build a nice baseball complex right there as well. Also an assisted living place right next to the huge church.

Welcome to GJ....

I've been in Wichita so many times I almost feel like a resident.....or to put it this way, I have watched Kellogg's construction from the airport side to past Raytheon/Beachcraft/what ever it is now....

Man, I could go a good prime rib from the Scotch and Sirloin right now.

I think Hawker is added in there somewhere?

In the 18 years I have lived here I have never been to Scotch and Sirloin. I really need to change that. What do you travel here so often for?

Aerospace....

The old Scratch and Sniff (as some of us like to call it) had a better atmosphere....the girls for really short dresses and and at least 5" FM heals....no girl was less than a 9.

Now...girls are still 9+...but they are trying to make the place a bit more conducive to to all guests....

Great prime rib....get the horsey sauce and the twice baked potato....finish up with Tumbleweed

I have been to S&S once and it was alright but quite expensive for what you got (had fillets). Texas Roadhouse has just as good if not better food at a better price. It has a vey different type of atmosphere that can get annoying though.
