Advance seems to do this once every two months or so:

$20 off $50 - Code: TRT25
$30 off $75 - Code: TRT37
$40 off $100 - Code: TRT41

These are for on-line ordering, in-store pick up. You enter the code on-line at check out. These codes don't seem to work on motor oil purchases, but batteries, brake pads, filters, etc get discounted without problem.

Hope this helps some of you guys out!

Sonofabitch! I just replaced coil pack, plugs, wires, and cabin filter in my wife's van a couple weeks ago. Purchased in store, cost over $100. I'll look for online coupons/discounts from now on.

I should have read the first post closer. I went through the motions of finding the different oil all my cars need to only find out the same. So I backed it down and stocked up on oil filters instead! Hey, saved $20! Thanks for the posting!!

They've been running these coupon codes in various forms for at least a few years. Just Google "Advance Auto Coupon Code" when you need to make a purchase. There are a few exclusions as of recent, such as motor oil and transmission fluid, but you can save a decent amount, even if their prices are normally higher than some of the others.

I never walk into AAA and buy anything off the street. I first Google for coupon codes, buy online with coupon code, and select store pickup.

Jump in my car and drive on over. By the time I arrive, the order is sitting there waiting for me.

Saves a ton of money (and time) that way.

Ditto. My store doesn't even care when I split up my order to take advantage of several coupons at "once". They just laugh, and say "We let you do it, why shouldn't you?"

I was trying to use the coupon on the gear wrench ratchet wrenches and it doesn't seem to be working. Anyone else having this problem?

If you're talking about the 50% off wrenches, I don't think they're eligible for any additional discounts.

I don't think there's an expiration date for that one I used it a few weeks ago it all depends on when they want to kill it. But there's always a new one that comes out soon after. Also about once a month there's a 50 off 100 coupon!

These coupon codes are pretty much infinite, usually its 25 off 75 , 40 of 110, 15 of 50, etc.

I do the same thing as sears, add little cotter pins and towels and stuff to get to the closest coupon then start a new order, repeat.

trt30 is a straight 30% off of your order. I don't think it has a requirement for a minimum amount, but it is a $50 maximum savings.

Works out good for orders under $50 or at some amounts between the limits for the other codes.

I've used these coupon codes a couple times already on small purchases under $50 and it's great. I don't buy any major auto parts from them because they are at least double what online places like RockAuto charge. I just bought a fuel pump Delphi unit from RA for $140 AdvanceAuto was $250:scared:

I'm getting ready to make a small order at AA with a coupon code for steel brake lines. 2 25 foot rolls of brake line for under $30 you can't beat that:thumbup: And it's good stuff too Poly-Armour brand.

Yesterday I needed to buy a bunch of brake/suspension parts for my Suburban and planned to use one of the Advance Auto discount codes. Before I pulled the trigger I priced the same parts from Rock Auto. Since the Advance discount codes I found were capped at $50 I found buying comparable parts from Rock Auto was some 30% cheaper even with Rock Auto's irritating shipping charges on what ended up being over $300 worth of parts.

On larger orders you might want to price shop.

You can place multiple orders @ Advance to take advantage of the coupons for what it's worth.

edit - There may be a short time period to wait before placing another order though. I haven't done that in quite a while. Still shop around no matter what you're buying. Sometimes Advance has ridiculous prices on the same exact brand part that rockauto, amazon, and tons of other vendors carry at a fraction of the cost.

I just used code "WD19" and got a caliper and set of front pads for my F250.
Got a set of gold pads and a caliper (after core) for 78 bucks.

took the truck out for an evening spirited drive and came back and smelled that familiar smell of burning pad. (I had to change the left rear caliper in Feb or March).

Now it's time for front passenger side. Stuck caliper again.

Currently, code "WD22" will get $10 off $25, $20 off $50, $30 off $75, $40 off $100, and $50 off $125.

For bigger ticket orders, you bust up your order into several $125 items.

These codes seem to change about every two or three weeks. Not sure what it will be in the future.

I think even w/out coupons they're cheaper than napa.

Advance has a lot of us made stuff, it rocks.
At least their Imperial fan clutches are.

Just a FYI if you have a speedway Rewards card, if you access Advance through the speedy rewards mall you earn 50 point per dollar spent at advance and you can still use coupon codes
