did a little shopping today picked up a set of gear wrenchs on sale at sears for a good deal.

I got the gloves off ebay. I think they are either Vietnam or China. I have never seen them before so I grabbed them when I saw them. $25

Was the speeder in good shape? Did it look like new? Mine comes in tomorrow.

New tools but warranty replacements. Sears makes it so easy for tool replacement. I usually don't warranty replace tools but when I do I am glad when they are from Sears.
Did you warranty the picks because the heads came out of the handle?

No they never came out. But I did manage to tear the rubber grip in the end of one of them.
Oh yeah, I didn't even notice that. Cool!
But my straight tip broke actually. I got them all together and changed them out all at once. Not sure how Sears handles that if you only bring one in?
Bought this, probably limited applications but should be useful for installing struts (where you have to hold the shaft with a Double-D socket or an Allen, then tighten the nut).
I have that set in my work van I found out in a emergency they work great for spark plugs( broke down in boat glad I grabbed it outa van)
I also got the 1/4 ratchet and a 1/4 10 mm wish that ratchet fit in the case
Real nice set I paid 35 w extra ratchet and 10 mm after coupon and sale

I broke my second set last night. Tip pulled out of the handle. First get broke then warranty them and bring them home. Bought matco picks for work. And just broke my home set again at home.

I use the small Craftsman picks for small stuff. The tough stuff I bring out the big guns! Craftsman Professional Pick set. It is really built tough.

There were a few marks and dings, but honestly, those could have been from being in a crate with a hundred other wrenches. No grease or obvious abuse, though.

That set came in handy on a 2005 Ford F150 5.4 I was working on (timing chain). Needed them to get the power steering pump off close to the frame

It's Blue Point. Got it new from my Snap-on dealer for £360, including the vodka.
It's an absolute beast. That cylinder is much bigger than it looks, and two-stage. One of the best things about it is that it has a foot release. The table and pivots are really good too.

How did you find the experiance ?. customs fees etc
There are 2 options with shopping at Sears.
1 They ship to the UK for £15 if you spend over £75, next day delivery too.
But you only get a limited choice of tools, no Craftsman, just Craftsman Professional - which is becoming extinct.
2 Use Boxhop, which is free for the first year at least, this gives you a US address and phone number, and then you can buy what you like and they repack it for you (free) and send it, the box that arrived today cost £36 to ship next day and I had to pay £26 VAT, so about right.

(always good to have lube when being bent over)

tooltopia AP stuff, lisle, lang thread kit (used today and works great), hose tool
jegs for the motive pump, hopefully less mess in the future

I went to buy the nut driver as it was less than 10 bucks and i had 9.50 in points to use but its no longer available.
I stopped at sears to check, they were 23 bucks, told the guy the story, he pulled them up and saw that they were 9.88 but when he clicked them they were no longer being sold online and he couldnt authorize the sale for the 9.88, im not mad because i got free rewards points and got a tool tray for free.

The monkey is just a Gif file that I use for everything.
Log in screen, desktop wallpaper in my garage and other things..
Just means I'm "Monkeying" around lol...
