As for you, how do you feel those screwdrivers compare with the other premium brands? I really love the handles but I'm not sure if I should add 'em to my collection just yet..

I like them. My main box is an attaché type from Jensen Tools. They fit the storage pocket perfectly. I use the the 1 and 2 Phillips everyday. Got three years plus before the tips started to wear out.

Have the Fuel cordless impact too got this as a back up. Was only $100 eilk use it for lugs and other things.

If I had a nickel for every time the socket has flown off my universal and spon across the shop.....
I mean I would not have a bunch of nickles, maybe enough to buy a small coffee, but you get my point.

Just got my first taste of German pliers. NWS needle and their version of Cobras in 10-inch length,0 and some pliers-wrenches in 6 and 10-inches. Great experience from Ash at German-hand-tools. I REALLY like these things a lot and will have to get some more variants.

PWCS7CF wire crimper/cutter/stripper. Works really well as a little combo unit. Bought it for when I am 20 feet in the air changing out ballasts on the shop lights. Tired of having more than one or two tools up there. Works well on the shop floor as well!

I use these for springs in a non automotive enviroment. I work on machinery.

I had the same problem. Turns out the pics that were taken were too big. I have a note 3 and just took smaller pics.

Picked up for at home. The impact was on sale but sold out. Ended up buying the display model for even cheaper. Was pretty happy about that. Grabbed a new 50' 1/2" hose and a hand full of V fittings for it too.

Noticed you got the brass V-style plugs. The Milton catalog recommends the steel V-style plugs instead of the brass ones for impact tool use. Probably OK for occasional use, though.

That hose is nice. In the winter time it will not kink up on you...

just got a chinese opcom so i can speak to my vauxhall and activate my cruise control - quality bit of kit , shows me all sorts of parameters tht the car is measuring as i drive. Air temp, oil temp , Throttle position , clutch position , turbo boost command and heaps of others

can test all the warning lights and most of the circuits and relays and sensors

Lot better than my previous P code reader !

so useful im wondering if theres an equivalent out there for my van. which is EOBDII compliant.

The vise is a no-name, I think 3-in. Already stripped & ready for paint.
The shell is a WW1 shrapnel shell, had a timed fuse and blew out lead shot.
Gonna have to find a Stanley Universal No. 55 plane for the 3 boxes of blades I now own.

EDIT: just found a pic of the No. 55. I missed an auction where one of these was pictured- thought it was a 'Rube Goldberg' / steampunk homemade. Anyone use one of these before??

One thing has me puzzled, and I scoured Ally Artifacts: a Williams 'Vulcan Dog'- looks like an 'L'-shaped 'breaker bar' for sockets... but it's a 9/16" drive, not 1/2". Could not find a pic/purpose online anywhere. Here I was psyched to find a handy 1/2-drive piece, but no.

One thing has me puzzled, and I scoured Ally Artifacts: a Williams 'Vulcan Dog'- looks like an 'L'-shaped 'breaker bar' for sockets... but it's a 9/16" drive, not 1/2". Could not find a pic/purpose online anywhere. Here I was psyched to find a handy 1/2-drive piece, but no.

Get some closer pictures up on here, and emailed to Alloy Artifacts. Most likely a pre-standardization or wartime piece.

I got this off eBay my second one. My first one I paid 70 for this one I said 48 + 6 for shipping both in mint condition.

I don't think I will use this one I will just hold on to it.

Wow, congrats on all that. Glad those didn't make it to the trash pile. I believe those were called "Ells" and were sold as spark plug tools. I have a set from craftsman, been in my dad's box for as long as I can remember. They had some goofy drive sizes back when.

Looks like a angle clamp (it's a Stanley), but the sides that would hold the pieces are so shallow, like 1/8" or 3/16". Almost makes me think it's more for flat stock steel than much else.

I did see a few much later 'Ell' offset wrenches, but not like this one.
I could see if it had an integral socket end, but the 9/16" square drive is a stumper. AlloyArtifacts doesn't list a 9/16" size I saw. According to that source, the "earliest" tools were stamped "J H Williams", but this doesn't even have the diamond-W logo. Maybe it is some sort of prototype.
