Snap On F-80 $50 shipped

I bought this from a fellow board member a couple/few weeks back. It was new when I got it, and I have not used it! I MIGHT have put a socket on it to feel the action, but it has not turned one bolt. I just don't think I am a Snappy guy...the thing is like jewelry to me, with its perfect chrome. Sure, it feels great, but I caught myself the other day thinking I could keep it safely tucked away in my toolbox and not use it. Then I slapped myself and realized that is a terrible idea! I'd rather just stick to the "other" brands and leave the bright Snappys for Snappy folk.

I paid $50 shipped for it, and that is what I'd like to get.

I can take pics if necessary...just didn't take them in advance of this posting.

Also, I will only accept a US Postal money order. I enjoy paying for items with PayPal, but I will never accept money that way. There are too many horror stories on the net of people lying about not receiving the item and then PP takes your money from you. I also had my account hacked and my balance stolen once many years ago I know the MO might turn off some, but it's the only funding source I feel comfortable with.

What is the best way to ship tools? Is it these "flat rate" mailers I hear about on here? Is that the cheapest?

I usually wrap it in a rag or plastic bag, then sandwich it in cardboard and tape it up, then throw that in a flat rate envelope.

Flat rate isnt the best unless the item is heavy IMO.

You should try it out, I know its hard to use a shiny new tool for the first time so instead of worrying about it just toss it across the shop floor and put it to use.

Correct, but it's less than that in an envelope, i believe.

Flat rate isnt the best unless the item is heavy IMO.

If there's a tiny box to put it in and ship it regular, maybe. If not, a flat rate envelope is $4.80 I think, and usually cheaper than a bigger box.
