Last night on the local craigslist, saw an ad for a basically brand new bluepoint toolbox combo for $175 with ball bearing drawers of course...
I saved the picture b/c I figured the ad wouldn't be up for long. Now I need another toolbox like I need a hole in the head, but for this price....
Anyway, I emailed the person, but it was close to two hours after it posted, so I'm sure I wasn't the first. I checked my email earlier today and didn't get a response...checked CL and the ad was gone...but I suspect either the ad wasn't real...or maybe the person owed a lot of money on the boxes and whoever got it got a box that wasn't paid for. Something that got me thinking was the person posted it about 9 PM Saturday night, and for $175, pretty much the first person that shows up Sunday is going to snap that deal up. If it was a weekday or something, an astute buyer could call Blue Point/Snap on and give them the serial #s to see if the box was paid for.
I just can't imagine someone would let this go this cheap and it being legit.
