Woot.com is doing a tool sale.

10pc Bahco/Snap-On SAE set for ~$21 shipped.

http://tools.woot.com/offers/10-piece-combination-wrench-set

Flat rate shipping of $5 for up to 3 sets.

Not sure what the Snap-On relationship is with these, its printed on the carry bag but its Bahco stamped on the wrenches. Regardless, USA made and Bahco carries a good rep.

Enjoy.

Bahco is owned by Snap-On, they're a "Snap-On Industrial Brand" like J. H. Williams is now as well.

Odd that they are made in the USA, I thought that Bahco was Swedish?

A quick google shows that they probably don't have the FDP grooves on the open ends like SO or Williams, if that is important to you. Still a good deal if you just need a set of wrenches.

Woot is owned by amazon, and has been around a long time. They're one of, if not THE original deal a day website. No worries about giving them CC info.

Those Bahco's look exactly like 'CAT' wrenches. I was wondering why my Caterpillar issue set didn't have Snap-on wrenches. Now I know.

I ordered these from Woot a while back and received them a few days later.

Woot has been very good and I have had no problems
I really like the quality of these Bahco's. If the come up again I would not hesitate to order a second set.

Damn, at that price it would've been cheaper to buy the whole set just for the 5/16 & 1/4" to fill out my Williams Supercombo set.

+1, I deal with them kinda regularly. They've been around a LONG time.

Just FYI, in case you didn't know, these are not like the supercombos - they don't have the "flank drive" equivalent (whatever they call it) grooves. I think these are likely just a nice combination wrench.

On another side note, someone said above they don't know how many they would have bought - Woot typically limits your buy to 3 of anything. :willy_nil

i've used woot before, many times. i don't worry about giving my them my credit card, but i will never do business with them again. based on a deal posted here, i bought some akro-mills parts cabinets. they arrived damaged; which wasn't the main problem. trying to contact woot to issue a return and refund made it clear to me they don't give a damn about after sales support. they only reply to my messages once a week and every week was a different person so i had to explain the entire situation all over again every time. it took 12 weeks to finally get them to issue my RMA and when it shipped back, they claimed they lost it. so it took another several weeks of telling them my UPS tracking shows it was delivered to them and it wasn't my responsibility that they lost it after receiving it. after that, i don't give a damn how good the price is (which really aren't so great), it's "good bye woot" for me.

I've had this set for a while. Seriously awesome wrenches.

The 1/4 like to try and jump out, as the tool roll leaves something to be desired.

I know they don't have the same style of grip, but I think if a fastener that size was stuck enough to need them, it would just get snapped off at that point.

Had anybody received their set of wrenches yet?
I just got a cancellation notice from Woot saying there was a issue with my order?
Very bummed, as I was the one to alert you guys first! Ha

I had an issue with a woot order that resulted in my favor. A style of glasses I ordered they sold out before my order, but didn't update the site, and I wound up with a more expensive style for the price I had already paid. They also had updated my shipping.

I can see the potential for it to go negatively though too, not that bad but definitely bad when the point of sale (website) doesn't update immediately on quantity changes there can be at least some frustration. I'm always interested in what woot has, but rarely remember to check it. My bad habit may have saved me some more frustration than I know.

but what happened to you guys. wow. I wonder how much of that was woot and how much may have been the supplier.

Yeah its BS, I get that they are a online seller and things like this happen. But JeremyV brings up a couple of good points.

I really just wanted the wrenches, it was going to be my first acquisition of super high quality wrenches (ie Bacho/SnapOn).

They refunded my money immediately after confirming they could not ship. And gave me a $5 discount (only good for 30days?).

Then I checked their site and saw Knipex Linesman pliers for $25 shipped, so here I am, a sucker with another Woot purchase... we will see.

I ordered 2 sets of wrenches. Today I got an email saying that there was a problem with my order and they would refund my money but they only refunded the money for one set and no shipping. Maybe they will ship one set?
