Recently my work has decided to get rid of some industrial carpentry equipment. Two of those pieces are wood welders. There are two different sizes. I consider myself an amateur woodworker but a huge tool fanatic. Lol.

I'd love to keep both but they are extremely large and I'm not sure what uses I would have for both. I'm thinking about keeping the smaller one and selling the bigger one.

Is there a used tool forum for carpentry equipment?

Does anyone have any experience using these things?

I don't think the average carpenter uses a wood welder - at least not any that I know - but maybe a cabinet shop or something may. They're like $4-5,000 new, i believe.

That's something to look into. The gentlemen that used to be our resident carpenter has left a on of **** behind. My boss just wants it gone.

:dunno: Is getting it all and sorting it out later an option?

As mentioned a cabinet shop and or door company might have some interest in the welder.

this shop is insane. this carpenter owned his owned business and had 3 of everything known to man. a lot of the big stuff is 3phase which isn't going to do me any good. :wtf:

Im hoping to find some carpentry forums and maybe gather some interest.
