I was just snooping around eBay for some 1" impact guns, although I prefer snap-on or Ingersoll rand, but has anyone used this or know someone? I messaged the seller to ask where it was made and he/she said China. It looks nice and I like how it comes with the sockets to remove and install lug nuts on a truck. What do you guys think?

and here is the another one I found

I have the snap on that you linked and it is nice. It weighs less than most others. It isn't very tough though. Mine doesn't get used all to often and looks like it has been run over by a train. It scratches very easily. I also broke the anvil and it cost more than the first ones you linked just to buy a replacement. If I had to do it over again I would save some money and buy a CP or IR.

I have used the snap on and it does feel nice. I haven't used the IR before and been curious to know how that is so I'm still in doubts on which one to purchase. Did your snap-on 1" come with a carrying case?

I have the snap on also, almost a year old and never skip a beat, wouldn't trade it for anything.

No case for mine. Just came in a box. I think that it gets beat up from the ground. The housing scratches and gouges very easily. I am definitely happy with it cause the looks of it don't affect how it works. I was a little mad when it broke but I'm now over it. I'm not sure of the model numbers of the others I have used but they all worked good. The only thing I like about the snap on is the weight and I'm not sure if its just in my head but it seems to have a smaller profile. I took the side handle off mine also and I don't miss it. Using the others I don't think I could use them without the handle.

Just out of curiosity do you have a nice 1/2" impact. When I was working on trucks my MG725 never failed at removing a lugnut. You might find that you don't need a 1". I use the 1" more now to tighten bolts then I did working on trucks. My 1/2" impact and a
3' breaker bar were my go to tools.

Yeah I have two MG725 with the 1" adapter, but call me crazy for my wallet itching to purchase something big to use and put in the bottom of my box.

Honestly, except for lug nuts, which that thing is overkill, those extended anvil 1" drive impacts are kind of useless. You can't use it for most suspension pieces that require lots of torque or on yokes. My buddy has been a HD truck mechanic now for 25 years and his biggest is a 3/4 standard anvil. Don't need anything more.

I understand. We use these to remove the lugs and eventually I'm going to need my own. Some times I do work on the side and those lug nuts can be stubborn.

My 2135 will take lug nuts off too but takes forever... Time is money and a 1" kicks *** for lugs.
