Heres how mine finally turned out. I detailed the lettering with a paperclip. And dusted it with some clear.

Hi, its from brass. It was a 3" dia piece I had around. I scaled the dynamic jaw and drew it in solid works then I machined it on my Kent axis with an Accurite controller. I had to modify it slightly to get to fit well. Ive ordered some tapered pins ( #4 I think ) from McMaster Carr to secure the jaws. Once its done I will put up a few pics, Jon
