mdbeck, Thank You! I've still got ideas floating around in my head but this is pretty much where it was heading. I really appreciate your input. < hug >
Glad I could help.

I know what you mean, It shows you care and have a heart. I used to take care of certain things around the house for my old neighbor and his wife, who have now passed away. Change light bulbs, take out branches, and large trash. During the hurricane Wilma I got them food, Ice and fuel for two weeks, since I'm a cop I can get it easier then most. They were in my house on thanksgiving Christmas new years. Their kids lived in NJ and barley came down to see them, that is until they died now she cleaned there bank accounts and sold the house, scum bag.
I never asked for anything in return, but one day I walk into my garage and he left me all his rifles and guns, I said no I can't take them, he told me "go **** yourself they are yours". Every time I hold one of his rifles I think of them both. Just keep doing what you do Benzlover I bet she appreciates it![]()
Not today, but a while back, a friend asked me to build his 390 FE engine for a 1966 GTA Fairlane. Fab'ed all the fuel lines, vacuum lines and brackets out of 316 stainless. He was tickled "Blue".

Wow dla, it's easy to see why! That's beautiful work right there and you should be proud of those runs. (I know those FR valve covers are sure fun to play with.)
Just a quickie follow up here about my new-to-me metal shop shelves since mdbeck was kind enough to offer a suggestion and took the time to track down a relevant thread for me. << hug >>
I sort of "moved in" and got a basic mock up of how they'll be used and it turns out that my idea for the pegboard doors isn't really going to work out. Just one customer's box for an old dual snorkel air cleaner assembly was enough to change my mind: It sticks out too far and overhangs the edge of the shelf by several inches ... and it's pretty typical of some of the boxes I get in here from my guys. The door idea will work for most but I'll still have huge boxes sitting on the shop floor anyway.
It looks now like they're going to be hidden behind plastic shower curtains hanging off of pvc frames instead. Easy to clean, easy to move when needed and very lightweight ... but no extra tool storage.Dammit.
Now to find some shower curtains in High Impact Mopar Colors .......... heh hehhhhh
Detailed a '56 Ford for a friend. Second picture is a reflection off the paint on the front fender.

Not just today. Pretty much Saturday up to today. I welded braces under my hot water tank on my camper as a temp fix until winter. I cleaned up a bit and ripped down a shelf to put cabinets up. Today I built said cabinet. Tomorrow I figure out how to put said cabinet on wall with a sprained hand by myself haha

Changed a rim out that was damaged by a pot hole. n a MC you have to swap out the brake rotors and tire, as well as ABS ring.
