Show me your pole barn colors

I'm building a pole barn this summer and we're down to the last step on the material order, picking the colors. Please post a pic of your pole barn or other metal skin structure and tell me what colors you chose.

Thats almost identical to the colors I have picked for mine this summer! My roof/wainscoting will be Charcoal as well while the walls will be Ash. I was a little unsure of the combo but I like the way yours looks!

Olympus, those colors are right in the ballpark of what we're considering. Where did your metal come from?

I got the metal from Tri-County Metal Sales in Advance, MO. They are local to me. The photos make the clay color look like a light brown, but it's actually more gray in person. And the charcoal is what you'd typically think of as being charcoal. It's a dark gray. So it's essentially a light gray on dark gray. Looks really classy in person. 30x36 with 12 ft walls.

My metal siding is the original from when the barn was built in '91. When the PO added the shop on one side for some reason the chose a completely different color which has always looked goofy to me. I also do not like the clear plastic panels they used for windows on the sides so I have been considering re-doing all the siding on my barn but am undecided as to what to use. I love the look of board and batten, but it's a whole lot of work to do myself. I am now considering new metal siding but I'm afraid of what the cost would be.

So to you guys using the wainscoat, do yoo run your metal all the way down and then just put the wainscoat over it? What is the advantage of doing the waincoat bottom.

They put the wainscoat on first, then the top color. There is some J trim at the joint.

Th reason for the two color for us just to break it up (16' sidewall) makes it more pleasing to the eye. Same reason as the overhang. looks more finished.

Wainscot is often installed so if a piece gets damaged (usually would be low on the building), you only replace that lower section and not a piece that is full height. During my bidding for my building, adding wainscoting didn't add much at all to the price. My building is nearly all red, but I still had it broken up by wainscoting. The Hardie siding under the porch is just for looks..

I decided tp go away from the conservative earth tones on mine. I'm a big Mopar fan, and this is kind of close to the blue used on the signs at the old Chrysler Plymouth dealerships.
