I've been hunting for some hardware drawers and bins for quite sometime. I came across some of these from a lady on Craigslist. Nabbed the vers-a-lite hardware drawers for $60 and she had these pretty cool spool holders that you can mount to the wall for $2 apiece. She was just wanting to clear out her storage building.

My local hardware has those. Pull out masonite sliders with the plastic divider boxes on them. The hardware vendor owns them, the local store does not. Someone comes in and restocks them every so often. Wonder how the woman came to acquire them. I would think a store going out of business would have the vendor pick them up and issue a credit for the remaining hardware.

They were empty. I got a couple larger size individual drawers too.

And you are correct. She said she used to work for a hardware fastener company

Those spools'll be good for your wire (since you do car audio).
